| Ever date some one you work with
Posted: 1/3/2007 9:40:56 AM | Well im not the person that would date some one that i would work with. There are little things that she remembered when she was only told one time. She seems to have a great listening ear. She started working the same time I started, both working 8 months at the same job. I work a 12 noon to 8 pm shift and she works a 4pm to midnight shift. I have always had a rule that i would never date some one i work with.
What do you think of working with some one in the same company?
I wonder what are the Positives and Negatives of this.
Has anyone had success in situation like this?
Or has Anyone had a bad experience with this. | |

Posted: 1/7/2007 12:55:42 PM | I have never done it but I have been in 2 different places where co-workers were well known couples. To me they seemed happy and they always had someone to back them up and when you work alot and the other person is there too -- i would imagine it helps the seeing each other issue. Also you always have someone to make fun of other co-workers with. Or so I would imagine all the advantages. The disadvantages I would imagine would occur if you broke up and if one person was fired or something. Why not discuss it with her and get her opinion. | |

she was an English alien and we worked together at Caldors (does anybody remember Caldor's?) and we went to dinner...she wanted me bad, and me (silly idiot) refused except for dinner and chat because was already with G/F... (stupid me!!!) | |

Posted: 9/20/2007 11:02:09 PM | sure, when i was way younger. i would show up for work on my bike. female co-workers would ask me when i was going to take them for rides. which usually turned into dates, movies, parties and stealing kisses in the lunchroom (when no one was looking). never had any problems cuz i wouldn't flirt the uptite women with axes to grind...

Posted: 10/23/2007 8:51:41 AM |  Bad news !!!... two young guys at work were lovers, they shared an apartment and behaved themselves at work...until a new employee was hired...a young athletic young guy, blond curley hair...I think the personel manager that hired him was going to have his day watching the sparks ....... Yep !!,,,the two gay kids split-up and one was hitting on the new blond kid...as it turned out, the new blond guy was straight ,..but made it a point of being very nice to the broken hearted partner left holding the apartment lease...... Guess what happened next...mr. muscles moves in to share the apartment with brokn heart !!!!........ the other gay kid madder than hell,...quits his job !!!. and moves on .... heart breaking !!!.......  | |

We have to work in the same place and now that he just got a girlfriend it makes it worse. You really want to make sure that you can accept all the possible outcomes.
