| Quick chicken and noodle casserole Posted: 1/5/2007 7:31:07 PM | I don't know if this casserole appears in any other recipes or not, I was experimenting one day and came up with this recipe. I remembered my mothers tuna and noodle casserole, But wanted some thing different. So I went to the kitchen and took stock of what I had on hand. What I came up with was liked by my friends, One of which is very fussy about food.
List (1) 16 oz. package egg noodles. (2) 4 10 1/2 oz. cans of chicken a la king. (3) 1 10 3/4 oz. can of cream of chicken soup. (4) 1 12.5 0z. can of chunk chicken in water. (5) 1 or more cups crushed potato chips or crackers.
Fix noodles according to package. After noodles are done add the caned ingredients and mix well. Add topping of chips or crackers and put in oven at around 350 or so for 30 minutes or until heated well thou out.
