Do you collect anything? Are you a packrat?

I collect Tigger....T....i...double gg...er. lol.
Ever since I was a kid I was obsessed with Tigger, I hate pooh and piglet lol. My friend just came back from Orlando Florida, he brought me back a whole bunch of collectibles. What makes me mad though is when a store sells an item, which is known to be a collectible and they damage or throw away the box. Note to store owners and clerks...never throw out a box....it defeats the value of the item.

Somehow I also ended collecting Spongebob squarepants, I dont know how but just did lol.

My aunty is a crazy packrat. She collects Joe boxer and smiley face stuff. She also collects woodstock (from snoopy). I get my packrat trait from her, I cant seem to want to get rid of anything, I become too attached

Magician and Escape Artist memorabilia. Snoopy. Titanic (the ship, not the movie!). I have a complete set of the paperback Doc Savage series of pulps novels. Best King Kong collection in the city.

Pigs, stuffed, ornamental, clothing... just pig stuff...been collecting that for 12 years

Stained glass angels... absolutely love them. A store in the forks on the second floor sells the most beautiful stained glass angels.. addicted to that place! only a few years on thisone..

Stuffed dogs.. stuffed animals in general.. a lifetime collection, what can I say.

As with thorndyke, titanic stuff... been collecting that for 11 years

That would explain why I have been having trouble finding any lately.

Actualy, just bought 'The Maiden Voyage' a hardcover copy with the deck plans in a folder in the jacket. Way cool!

Sally, it's the craft store on the second floor, right hand side. they have some beautiful stained glass angels right on the counter where the cash register is. I've got some of them and I just love them. Very very simple designs, decent price but I find them beautiful.

Thorndyke, I've got quite a bit of Titanic stuff... even teach entire units on the ship in schools. One of the neatest things I've got is actually a handmade model one of my grade 2 students made for me 2 years ago. Toilet paper tubes for the smoke stacks and the ship is made out of foam and a planter.. it's absolutely AMAZING!

Oh god I got stuff...where to start...

I collect dragons, unicorns, some horses, and I love carousels and carousel figures. Have a decent collection of Christmas ornaments from Hallmark and Carlton Cards too. Books...art books, the how-to kind, collections by fantasy artists, a few Mustang books...I love books...recently started collecting small scale die cast cars...shall I go on?

Tends to be a problem when so much in this world interests me, I tend to want to hoard it.

You should see the junk I collect in the trunk of my car! Not by choice either (I have to learn to say no a little more often!). Everyone thinks because I am a single parent I need their throw aways! Every couple of months I support diabetes by cleaning out my trunk and dropping it off at VV Boutique.

No Ed, I just ram their heads into couch cushions!

OT, I did start collecting dolls a couple of years ago. I only have one so far (cost $200 u.s.), and hope to start up again with collecting something that doesn't collect dust!

I tried collecting men, but so far, it's not working for me very well.

I think I'll move on to something else.
