I think if it came down to it... I perfer to be touched, rubbed, tickled over sex. Then again most of the time that leads to sex...

Posted: 1/9/2007 8:07:59 AM | mmm being touched and massages are so nice and gratifying. I enjoy giving massages the touch of soft supple skin is quite nice. Iy doesn't even have to lead to sex, as a massage or sensual touching is a form of connection all on its on.
Its just a great feeling. I often come away amazed after I give a nice back rub/massage. Maybe its just the intent that put into it that leads to that but yeah.

My husband is a giver and does not really care to get, until he had a full body head-to-toe erotic massage from 'moi', which I might add lasted nearly 3 hours.......he still would rather give but is never short of offering his body up to me for a little pleasure.
The best massage is given with mood lighting, sensual smells and sounds filling the room and the idea of there being no sex at the end......a massage is ruined by jumping under the covers or kneeling and bracing for the thrust.
Although one certainly does lead to the other most often, you have to remember to resign yourself to the fact that massage is not foreplay when done right, it is entirely on its own, the beginning, middle and end of arousal as we know it!

Posted: 7/26/2009 2:43:01 PM | Massage done with Tantric practices are indeed the most intimate, but not everyone is comfortable with the concepts of body energy, accupressure points, etc. Massage is a source of intimacy in general. It is as much a form of communication as words when done right. You cannot beat the satisfaction a female friend gets from having a good head to toe rub, but the right neck rub can make a person happy and smiley too ya know :-)
The smells and mood under which the massage occurs can be just as much a source of positive energy when done on beach at sunset. Does not have to occur only under the circumstances of the bedroom.
I think these days most people have lost the understanding of sensual, assuming all things that are tactile must be sexual or end in intercourse. A shame really.
