| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 8:27:02 AM | | How would you feel if you met a woman and she told you that under this wig, she was bald? Would it make any difference, and would you be happy for her to go au-natural ? This is considering that there are a lot of bald men around? | |

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 8:47:27 AM | | I have recently been suffering from a form of stress related alopecia and thought I was going the same way as that wee Scots lass can't remember her name ... I lost about half the volume of my head hair but thankfully it's all stopped now.. I'd have gone bald disgracefully anyway .. No wigs for me .. I'd have had a tattoo done .. Something along the lines of .. Yes the collar and cuffs still match or .. Yes I'm bald and you're still ugly ... hmmm might just shave the lot off anyway .... | |

It goes both ways really would a women date a man who is balled? If i was a man and liked a women and she turned out 2 be balled i dont think it would bother me at all.. i mean 2 be honest alot of women and men look very sexy with out .I never do understand why people look at peeps who dont have hair and who have the courage 2 walk around with out a wig, i mean not only is it rude but it hurts the person wen they notice there being looked at! Any1 who has a problem with it in my eyes r not worth the time

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 9:04:59 AM | | A girlfriend of mine has been bald for the last 15 years due to a medical condition. She had no problem meeting and dating men - and yes, she tells them about her condition. She's currently married with 3 kids and still no hair. | |

Well please do come and tell us, won't you? If you ever manage to defy the rules of nature, that is.

And it is a difficult thing to speak about normally, let alone in a "dating" situation, its something that should be amitted to, before he runs his fingers through your hair...and it comes off in his hand! Its good to see different people opinions.

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 10:01:40 AM | Once again i took the thread title the wrong way, maybe its just the way my mind thinks
I don't see any problem with dating a women who is bold as long as you both feel confident about the other persons looks and you like the person in general then i would not let anything stand in the way no matter what it is.

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 10:04:38 AM | | If that bald woman made me happy then yes, personality is so much more attractive and so many women have shaved heads now anyway, I can't see much difference | |

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/11/2007 10:05:03 AM | In answer to the OP's question. Yes I would date a woman who is bald, the honesty of saying so before we met (if it was via the internet) would count very highly in my eyes.

Be likely to approach based on looks in the first place, less so than an otherwise identical woman with hair.

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/16/2007 2:13:17 PM | | hmmmmm i had a huge cancer scare in my twenties and i was more worried about losing my hair than anything else. My brother-in-law at thle time made al sorts of jokes about wigs but i always said if it came to that i'd never wear one & would just shave my head & be proud of who i am. I someone had a problem with it then that was their problem & not mine! | |

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/16/2007 2:25:06 PM | there are some men who seem repulsed by the idea of dating a bald woman, lets look at it another way.
you meet a woman with a normal head of hair, you fall in love, you marry, you have children.
then somewhere along the way your wife develops a condition whereas her hair falls out until, in no time at all she is bald. because of your current views, do you just pack your bags and leave her and the kids behind so you can find a woman with hair growing on her head?
if that was the case, you would be the most inhuman and loathsome prat immaginable.!!!!!!
FOOTNOTE: a future trend may well show voluntary feminine baldies to be the new rock and roll, influencing the majority of nice sexy ladies.
o.wilde., fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable it has to be changed every 6 months.

that sounds like something Oscar Wilde might have said too.....I knew a woman who was bald, but her wig was so disconcerting looking, was 12 years ago now though, my mate had to buy a wig to cover her bald head after chemo and it was beautiful, looked great on her. Thankfully her hair grew back and her gay brother now enjoys the use of the wig, he is such a good looking woman.

| Would you date a bald woman ? Posted: 1/16/2007 5:18:06 PM | | One of my not too distant past girlfriends had stress related alopecia, and it did not come back in the centre. She has hairpieces that are sort of sewn and fixed on. She is just as sweet- regardless .I know a young lady who just shaves hers off, she looks stunning too.Great dancer as well. My daughter got ill when young (8)and she lost hers. It did grow back in the end. Conversely of course girls ,would you date bald man? | |
