I am pumped and ready for 8 oclock tonight. Got our popcorn, pop, pretzels and other munchies ready to go...oh and jammies to or as honey would say *sleep pants* yeah yeah, that too...
So, are we ready to maybe see if we get another William Hung this year???
Cant wiat to see what the three amigo's have up their sleeve this year for our potential idols!!!
So ditch the Leaf's game and come join us with Idol!!

Ill have to wait for next years Rock Star competition to see any talent I would appreciate.

Then who can forget that one guy who audtioned by singing Madonna's "Like a Virgin"???? Dancing and all ... well, sort of dancing ... hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Classic, all classic ... Once they get down to the decent singers though, I lose interest. | |

I will definitely be watching American Idol tonight.
I am also addicted when it comes to this show.
My daughter and I will be glued to the television like the rest of you watching.
We will be having a good laugh at all the ones who can't carry a tune.
Makes it all worth while when they get a few good ones who can sing their hearts out. | |

I just love the singing and I really admire all the people who have the guts to get up and sing in front of crowds like that, wish I had the guts.... Each year they extend the eligibility age, but it's always a year too late for me... lol, guess I would have to wait for the "Over-the-hill" Idol to come back and I'm only 35...but it makes sense, they want a tighter age group so that they can ascertain that folks have had approximately the same level of experience/exposure...
I find I usually agree with most of what Simon says, he is very knowldgeable, the only times I disagree is when he makes comments unrelated to their singing to put them down or is unnecessarily mean. I agree that being direct is needed when some folks just don't get it, but being cruel is not cool.
I thought he was out of line a couple of times last year, hopefully he has cleaned that up a bit and gets back to just evaluating the singing...

They did not do Prince proud, that's for sure...
From the previews they showed, it looks like it will be more of the same....
