A question about sex and soap...Page 1 of 3    (1, 2, 3)
Say you are in the shower with your lover, and you are both all soapy, his penis covered with soap, and then you have sex...

Does anyone know if there is any harm that can come from soap getting inside you?

I think men have more experience in using soap as a lubricant than women.
And, I think any man who's used it knows, you'd better cum pretty quick.

Soap inside can be painful due to additives like scents or dye's etc. I wouldn't recomend it. Using soap as a lubricant for him is fine, but give it a quick rinse before penetration.

Brook: I've heard from a friend that the soap irritates the very sensitive inner lining of the penis. If you and your partner do get soapy, do not, under any circumstances, have him put it inside you as I can only imagine the discomfort that would be felt.

This friend has also told me that the first time you take a piss after getting your penis soaped up, it does hurt. The more soap, the worse it hurts. And it can still hurt the second time as well, though not as much.

Moral of story, if you get your guys penis soapy, rinse like mad or else he won't be so playful the next time you're in the shower with him.

That's all my friend told me about that.

The body comes equipped with lots of bacteria - some good
and some bad. There are certain types of bacteria that are
necessary. For all ladies: if you wash that area frequently
with strong soap (Dial etc.) you can kill some of the good
bacteria and cause an imbalance that has symptoms similar
to a yeast infection. Hope that helps!

Well, I had liquid soap in mind... it is smooth!

Yes, I do wash myself ALL OVER! I'm talking about what might be left up inside. You'd have to douch to get it all out, wouldn't you? Is that necessary?

And yes, I am the age I quote, I was just with one man for a lot of years and he didn't happen to like taking showers together! Or anything kinky, for that matter. It's new to me.

There are a lot of aspects of sex that are new to me. I'm sure there a lot of young women that are more experienced than me in some areas, especially the ones that have had multiple partners. That is why I am asking questions.

Why do people have to try and insult you when you are asking honest questions?

OP I never insult I just asked a question. Why are some people sensitive to questions asked by others?

Fact is you should have enough natural lubricant while being aroused that soap or anyother would not be required, esp. in a shower.Unless it's anal sex for ya again. In that case, always use a condom.

Most douches are mild soaps so don't sweat it.Maybe you need your questions answered before you engage in the activity. It can save you on stressing afterwards.Call your public health nurse and list all your concerns concerning ALL aspects of sex you want to know about. You'll recieve clinical answers and have discretiin to boot.

Some soaps contain a lot of lye which is very caustic and creates a burning sensation when it comes in contact with sensitive body parts - like the inside of Therealone’s friend’s penis. I think that most modern bath soaps are pretty mild and infrequent, occasional exposure would probably not be harmful.

Like Therealone, I have a friend..only one though.

This friend told me that soap can burn like hell if you're particularly sensitive, even Dove soap. She keeps a bottle of baby oil in the shower, something about it being slippery.

bp7117: There is a difference between washing with soap in sensitive areas and doing activities which can allow for a nice opening for soap to enter.

In its natural state, the penis is closed. However, when undergoing, um, activity, the front opens up. This allows for the soap to enter and no amount of rinsing will be able to get every bit of soap out.

Or so my friend has told me.

^^^ In that case Spybeach, I don't think baby oil would be a good alternative!

I can't even wash with soap down there, let alone have sex while being soapy. Some people are really sensitive, I know if I wash with soap, it does burn to pee, and irritates the skin. I know of many women that have that problem to....so a soap covered penis going near my parts is a no no.

I've had many experiences lathering up lovers in the shower using liquid soap. I've had a lot of sex in the shower and have used liquid soap as a lubricant on a few occasions. No one has ever complained of any burning and that's probably because the brand I use is soap free. It's by "Olay" and it contains Shea butter. It's very mild and is formulated for sensitive skin. It really all depends on the person and what they're sensitive to. I have used soaps in the past that have burned me and the girl, but not with this brand.
