| Tattoos, Why do emphasize them in your profiles?
Posted: 4/9/2005 8:57:45 AM | I have noticed that men and women with tattoos/ piercings seem to put a lot of emphasis on displaying them in their profiles. Like it is something extremely important. Why do you guys do guys put a lot of focus on them? What does it do for you? What do you think it does for someone you are looking to date?

Posted: 4/9/2005 10:03:54 AM | only1, you show off your attributes in every single picture you have on your profile, its all about your breasts there, kinda wierd you have an almost sickening tone to your message about tattoo's not defining you when those obviously must.
People show tattoo's because it gives others something to talk about in initial conversation, people LIKE tattoo's in general (always more that do then don't) and its a common ground between people who know really nothing about each other. | |

expanding on my other message, I have 1 tattoo its in two of my pics, I don't flaunt it around becaues you are right generally you don't HAVE to, but in some photo's like the two its in, its better in the pic then out.. | |

I'm the naughtee girl nobody would ever suspect of being bad/naughtee just by looking at me.. most people don't even know I have a tongue ring until I either show it to em or use it on em!  | |

I put up atleast 2 at one point only becuz sometimes when someone mentions they have tatties... MOST ppl think the worse (skulls/flames blah blah) I put mine up there to show they mine are nice classy tats... | |

Posted: 4/11/2005 12:32:28 AM | actually i will admit...some tattoos can look very nice on women. I personally wouldn't get it done myself, but i have seen some nice body art....so i take back the negative remark i made about tattoos. Some actually suit them better than others.
I have a girlfriend who has a tiger going all the way up her arm and one down on the lower part of her backside and i think she may have gone alittle overboard, and even she admits to feeling some sort of regret from having all that done...but i have seen some women in here that look good with it. | |

dislcaimer: i have no tatooes or piericings, all my holes are natural ones
isn't it obvious? body art is a form of self-expression, they are trying to show some aspect of themselves in tehir profile, naturally something important enough to have been permanently etched into their bodies to show something is going to go in a profile.
