Posted: 1/23/2007 12:16:45 AM | The movie freedom writers!!! I liked it I highly recommend IT. Im takeing a survey of who hated it & who loved it & who is in the Middle. I think probly most just dont care. I wish I knew computer code I could put up boxes & people could click loved it box or hated it box you get the idea any whay just voice your OPINION<<<<%.

New teacher, in the beginning of her career, gets put to the test with a class of inner-city tough students.
But I have to say, they pulled it off AGAIN , because this movie was very good. | |

Posted: 1/24/2007 1:36:56 AM | | there was some prominent "freedom writers" advertising in another social site that is supposed to be "ad free" that was my initial turn off to it. .......[not that i have an objection to some reasonable amts of advertising to pay for a site. but this place had made a big big deal about there "forever ad free promise"]......some other fluff surrounding the promotion of the movie.....does;nt sound like my cuppa tea. i havent gotten around to seeing "the cross and the switchblade" yet. what did you like about the movie ? schindlers list is about the last hollywood movie that i liked... | |

For me I liked the movie because: The world can try to keep us down Im talking the corpret world in its rat race competative,hectic,Im much better than you attatude.
But the movie shows even when the chips are down & the odds are low in succeeding.
When someone cares enough(IE hilary swank the teacher in the movie) great things can Happen Education is the key to LIFE, she was able to inspire the Kids, Thats what made her a great teacher. I know its only a movie But its a true story AND in my Opintion

Posted: 1/25/2007 11:28:18 AM | I loved it! I know Erin Gruwell and many of the kids and others who were represented - overall, it was a good take on their story!!!
If you are interested in learning more about the real Freedom Writers, Google "Freedom Writers" and you will find their website.
BTW the book is already out - written by the kids.
