Posted: 2/17/2007 1:19:17 PM | Hello... just checking in to see if you POFers are still planning on coming to Southern Chester County to see my favorite band, Dyin' Breed. A few more details (I might repeat some)... the band plays Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and some Country. They are great to dance to.
The bar itself is nothing fancy.. tables, a couple of booths, dance floor.. with a pool table in the back room. Dress is very casual.. I usually wear jeans, boots, and a nice shirt. Drink prices are pretty reasonable and there is no cover. They serve "bar" food downstairs (nachos, chicken wings, etc.) and there is a very nice (fancy) restaurant upstairs that requires reservations.
Red Rose is very easy to find. It's located on Route 796, just off of Route 1.
By the way, anyone have any ideas of how we can recognize fellow POFers? thanks | |

Posted: 6/11/2007 7:52:18 PM | I would like to get a group toigether from the Del Md Pa area for a night at the Wilmington Blue Rocks sometime in July or August. I do have a thread started in this same forum under WIlmington Blue Rocks. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please leave a note there and I wil look into it. Hopefully we can get something going like I have heard about in the West Chester area. Maybe it can lead to other things too, like roller/ice skating, picnics at one of the many parks in Delaware (bring a kayak./canoe if you have one). Lums Pond is an excellent water body to do such on.
