Posted: 1/29/2007 6:12:34 PM | I do have a profile on another site....but will no longer pay! POF is the best...and I've found that most people on other dating sites....usually end up here!! POF is #1...not just for meeting others....but I also love the Forums....it's nice to get a perspective from men/women all different ages groups....

Actually if you want my honest opinion..... stick with sites like this, with minimal advertising it is way cool | |

They can't possibly add anything in their site mechanics that adds significantly to the statistical probability of finding a mate.
Why?
Because their site population served will always be MUCH smaller (fewer people willing to pay 10-50 bucks per month to log onto a site).
Because their site populations are also enriched with types looking for intimate encounters, other relationships and those who are married and dissatisfied but unwilling to leave their marriages.
Why? Because they offer privacy for money. You can hide your online activity to those outside of the paying population.
Now, who the hell is gonna be stupid enough to continue to pay for this service if they are genuinely interested in finding a potential loving partner when the other sites are pre-loaded with the wrong types?
See why Markus's idea is very cool? Plus, he as a community. One day, he will understand the value in this side endeavor.
Wanna evaluate a potential date on the fly with information other than their profile?

Posted: 1/29/2007 6:25:55 PM | I had a profile on LavaLife that I let lapse. I got tired of the fake members of Lava that were actually working for the site trying to get me to waste my credits.
I couldn't believe they would actually do something like that until I spoke with someone that used to work for them. | |
