I prefer neither one, they're both unattractive to me.
What I prefer is monogomous women.
Contextually conservative can be implied to be the opposite of promiscuous, and thus it's actually covering that definition.
Under a general setting, I would agree there's a difference between monogomous and conservative, but under the implied pairing setup by the OP, there's not.

The OP might as well be asking if men would prefer owning a decent car as opposed to renting a car that has to be shared with many others. When you give a choice between a good thing and a bad thing, I think it's pretty obvious which of the two is going to be chosen.

Posted: 2/1/2007 1:41:19 AM | Well, generally speaking, I'm looking for a girl I can be proud to announce that I'm in a relationship with, which means conservative enough to be able to go out in public with. Her past history isn't too much of an issue with me. I think pretty much every person, no matter how non-promiscuous, has been with a few people. Add to that the fact that a lot of people grow and learn, and it's just impossible to make a blanket judgement.
So, in short, she has to project class. If she can manage that, then her private life doesn't really matter, so long as she'll be loyal once she has a man. | |

Are you speaking about the way they look or act?
Personally I like one some where in the middle.
Not slutty but not a prude.
I don't want a woman that is always in a 3 piece suit or a turtle neck sweater, but I don't want a woman that has more hanging out than in either.
It doesn't make you promiscuis to wear a low cut top or dress, just depends on what you are doing in it.
But if there were only two women left on earth and had to choose one I would go with the conservative one for a long term relationship. And if it was for a one night fling the pormisuis one would probably work out better. | |

I don't care if the woman I'm interested in is conservative or promiscuous, but what really matters is if she's self-assured and not shy.
See, she can be shy and conservative (which means she's a terrible prude, totally unadventurous and never takes a chance on anything)
She can be self-assured and conservative (she knows what she wants, she won't string guys along, and she will have sex when she feels she's ready)
She can be shy and promiscuous (attention-seeking, looking for approval of people around her so she has lots of sex, but deep down is afraid to show the world who she really is)
She can be self-assured and promiscuous (she loves sex, she loves the chase, she loves being chased, she loves experience and she loves life and is proud to be so adventurous) | |

I mean, everybody wants to feel special.
If a girl will sleep with anyone, how does that make me special?
Also, there is the increased danger of STD's and the like.
If I was the type of guy to do the one night stand thing, sure it would be great to find
an "easy" girl. The thing is, I always felt the inevitable complications would make not worth
it to me. That and I tend to get too emotionally attached.
Respect? I have more respect for someone that has standards than one that doesn't.
Who would I prefer? A lady that knows what she wants and it just happens to be me.
