travel on ollifftown rd approx.9 1/2 miles to property on right

look for metter ga
then find hwy 23
follow 23 north to ollifftown rd
follow ollifftown rd to mcnair rd {dirt rd}
i`m in the house on the rite just before dirt rd
there are 2 ponds one in front and one in back

food will be hotdogs and hamburgers
there is no cost to attendees but donations will be accepted to help offset the cost

Posted: 2/2/2007 9:42:19 AM | Metter is in south-easten Georgia, about 1 1/2 hours from Savannah. There was a religious "show" that used to be broadcast up here, called "A Seed from the Sower" with Evangelist Michael Guido. The "show" was really less than a minute long, but he gave a small parable, and related it to scripture from the bible. It was really neat when it came on,,,,very positive and uplifting stuff. Oh, the grounds of the Guido Evangelical Center in Metter, during the springtime, are absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Available rooms will be rare on St Patty's weekend the closer you get to Savannah. Metter is about 1 & 1/4 hours away and most of Metter's motels are close to the interstate. If you seriously want to get a room for the bonfire party you should book them NOW.
Just some friendly advice from someone from the area.
Oh yeah, Vidalia and Swainsboro are about 20 to 30 minutes from Meter if you need a second choice for a room. Statesboro is also close but is towards Savannah and will fill up before Metter will. Burke, any more room advice for those who will have to travel to come? | |

i`m afraid to anounce that no one under the age 0f 21 will be allowed to attend the event

it seems that there are rooms in metter for the 17th at this time
there are 3 motels all on the same road near the interstate
the price range starts at 69$ plus tax
and goes uptwards of 100
i hope this helps
holliday inn express
rooms start at 89$
econo lounge
is about the same
sctotish inn
is the cheapest
and i`ll let you figure out why
