My problem is most of them are just to far away(although there are a few i might make the trip for )just wondering if there are any singles in the lakes region of N.H.. Why don't we plan a get together at a public place, restaurant, bar, nightclub or whatever and just hang out together? Jillian's in Manchester seems like a good place. I realize that this Saturday is almost just around the corner, but why not?
Let me know if anyone is interested in getting together there say 8 or 9PM? Please reply to this post or send me a message and go from there.

Posted: 7/6/2005 3:03:23 PM | New Hampshire and Vermont are both small states so dont expect a lot of people to post. New Hampshire is Republican, Conservative, Puritanical, so that inhibits a lot of singles looking for Vermont is ultra liberal but the old Puritanical background dies hard I guess. Anyway, I have the best of both worlds living on the border between both states.
On the positive side, both states are just the best darn states to have a romantic relationship in. Lots of free open space, secluded ponds, rivers, campsites, that are quiet and no one will bother you except the moose and deer.
Gawd bless a state where you can "live free or die" and where skinnydipping is still legal! | |

I too am from NH. I"m from old school where the woman sits at home waiting by the telephone for it to ring, in hopes that some nice man will call.
Well, I've been stepping out on a limb the last few weeks since I started here on POF. I"ve read many profiles...till my eyes were tearing from weariness, I"ve typed many responses to profiles till my fingers ached from typing. But, all I've gotten back are two responses, one from a gentleman that said he lived too far away, and the other from a gentleman that said he recently started a relationship.
This certainly does not do much for the self esteem, now does it? Guess all those other peope I've taken my time to contact didn't think I was worth a reply. Really, I am a nice person, dispite my profile. LOL
Anyway, it's always nice to meet new people, so if someone decides to get something going, please, by all means let me know. | |

Maybe they're looking for a way out, for some reason or another. Personally, I love it here. This is the area, this great nation was started. My anscestors came on the first boats. My family has lived in New Hampshire, pretty much ever since it was founded. I'd love to visit the world, but this state will always be home to me. "Live Free Or Die" | |
