| Leafs Goal waved off!

The refs in tonights Toronto, NY Islander game just caused the leafs a vailable point and gave the Islanders 2 of them.
i dont care what anyone says about it being only one point...it was a crucial f***ing point. It was the biggest game of the night with two teams tied for 9th with identical records!
No goalie interference!
no whistle was blown!
the puck was in the net!
yet the refs called it a dead play...no penalty...no goal...and put the faceoff outside the zone! there was no call made on the play.
Those refs better get a good ear full from the NHL!

Anyway that game was a joke, Sundin was tripped not once but twice during over time and the first trip the god damn refs didnt call, the second they did and at the same time they had also given Toronto a penalty. They would have won if those butthole refs had actually called the first penalty like they should have. | |

Posted: 2/23/2007 1:08:26 AM | Horrible horrible HORRIBLE call. It's no secret Fraser has something against the Leafs so the least the league can do is not have him ref any of their games.
Nevertheless, the Leafs can't blame the entire night on that one play. The team just didn't play like the 2 points meant everything to them when in reality... the 2 points are the difference between 7th and 10th place!!! We're in the final 20 or so games of the season, you can't take a night off when you're fighting for the final playoff spot. | |
