| What Makes a Good Woman ?
Posted: 4/17/2005 5:07:35 PM | I've recently met someone I consider to be a good woman. Jan, the lady who
runs the hotline for abused men. She does this out of the kindness of her
heart and she's helped me personally. I consider her among the better members
of the female gender. What do you think makes a good woman ? | |

Some one who can give you unconditional love and support, if you are talking about a partner, or someone who does not judge you and cared about your well being and attempts to understand you. | |

The qualities side of someones persona definitely defines one's self. But what's in the heart is who you truly are. I try to live by what my heart tells me, meaning I do what I do for the people I care about because its in my heart. But then again I do what I do for strangers because I dont want to live my life knowing I am able to help someone to either relieve their suffering or anguish or to help themselves become a better person. Better Person: what they want to be or feel they should be in a positive manner, not what I FEEL would make them a better person. I have many goals in my life but the never ending goal, and I say never ending because I will continue to strive for it until the day I die, is to touch as many people in a positive way, no matter how isignificant ( need hooked on phonics here) it may seem something is going to remind them of something positive I instilled in them is going to help them to make a positive choice that will effect their lives and make it better. | |

Posted: 5/6/2005 6:33:59 PM | HI there. Before I answer let me say its common for a man to fall for the helper... keep in ind this is her role and she is working. Do not confuse her help a sign of interest in a romance.
I consider a good woman lots of things. I know good women who are friends and the thing I recently noticed in one of them that opened my eyes to her depth and genuin- ness was that she does the right thing, despite what she feels like doing... even if it hurts. Integrity.
I would consider that trait good in a man too, making him a good man.
Like the parent who sacrifes his personal social life to spend time with his children, or the woman who realizes he's just not that into her and leaves with her dignity. Older you get looks matter less and less. maybe God knew what he was doing to have our eyesight go as we get older. To have 20/ 20 eyesight at 80 might be a very bad thing.

The happiness of others in their life is more important than their own. Good people sometimes hurt one another by the very methods that often help people. But finally, good people know when they've caused pain and want to make things right.

Posted: 5/6/2005 8:22:41 PM | a good woman is someone who can listen to you, be loyal and communicate with honesty. Someone who strives to live with integrity. That loves herself so that she can love you. Someone who is sensitive to others.
Someone that is honest and is not impressed with outward things like material possesions and do not take advantage of others. Someone that encourages you to be the best "you" that you can be. she is someone that is supportive and is a sweetheart in every sense of the word. | |
