| The missing e mail???
Posted: 3/7/2007 10:27:10 PM | I think I may have accidentally deleted an email...Can't find it in my saved mail list..
I assume it is not possible to "unsend" a mail...Sooo if i did delete it..any way I can find it.?
Also I looked on the screen name list (show all mail) and the person's screen name does not appear though we have written back and forth a few times..Huh?
I have looked on the message sent list and they are not there either..
This is an e mail i received a just a few days ago..Would this happen bcz they deleted thier account?

Posted: 3/7/2007 11:15:09 PM | | Judy - I seem to recall reading in a past thread that if an account is deleted, then all associated information is also deleted permanently with it. If this person is missing from your MessageSent list, then that is likely what happened. | |

Posted: 3/9/2007 7:28:38 AM | Go to your INBOX and go into the tab marked VIEWED ME.
Once inside scroll to the bottom of your listing and you will see a box called DETAILS, which explains the feature.
Highlighted in blue in the same text box you will see a link of people you have contacted.
Click on the link and it will bring up users that you have contacted and you may also select those who have contacted you. If you cannot find the missing email in there then your guess is as good as mine what happened to the user and email.
However, the listing in that menu will only remain for 30 days before it is deleted.

Posted: 3/11/2007 8:20:38 AM | I had the opposite problem yesterday. I sent an email to someone and poof...lost in cyber space somewhere!!! I can't remember the user name of course because it was the first time I had looked at his profile. I can't even remember if I found him at the top or in new users. But I searched his city and age and didn't find it again. The only thing I can think is that he deleted his account or was deleted at the same time I was typing the message....but what are the chances of that?
