As to the degree, I would think that falls under personal tastes, and can only be judged by the people involved.

It never occurred to me to think about how much wetness. There is enough, or not enough. Any amount that is enough seems just right. Are we talking the slick kind of wetness or the watery kind? Slippery slick is great, watery is less great, but still great.
I am curious why this question comes up. Is someone a big time squirter? There isn't a woman alive who can foil a properly fitting snorkel.
