It love is in the air what matters about the body shape, that is not what you are in love with. my 2 cents only.
OP nice picking on the cars you like.

I also forgot to include those dreaded hormones that create us women and separate us from the men. I'd give my eye teeth to be pencil then back in the day a very long time ago.... but no matter how hard (not really) it doesn't happen and so be it. As long as i am healthy physically and mentally then that's all that matters.

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/10/2007 7:18:08 AM | hmmm....what an interesting choice of wording
curvy instead of FAT
skinny pencil instead of SLENDER
How about we word it like this
Do men actually prefer the big fatties vs the slender fit one?
Isn't it wonderful how you can put your own personal spin on a question to control the answers?

Posted: 3/10/2007 7:37:35 AM | Seemed to be trying to be generic and perhaps just not so well eloquently phrased might be more like it? ,... not only that but this topic has been beaten to death on what seems like a weekly basis on ANY online thread. There is a HUGE difference between curvy vs fat, and pencil thin vs slender and fit. To me when someone suggests curvy they mean more of an hourglass figure , larger breasted, smaller waist, bit more defined in the hips,..no more than 15-20 pounds overweight. Pencil thin is a young Twiggy look. Maybe it's just the SIZE of the curves we are referring to??? Let's get real folks,... you do yourself a big favour by trying to be in the best physical shape you can be. Sure, we all come in different sizes and have different reasons for being the sizes we are,... how about we all just accept each other and put our best foot ( feet?) forward?? Attraction is personal so there is no way to POLL the masses to find out. TO each their own. Scooter said it best! Happy fishing.

Body size has nothing to do with who and what the person is. A person could be thin and gorgeous yet be the ugliest due to her/his personality. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it?
There are people that go by looks alone and sooner or later find out at their expense that beauty is only skin deep and fades as the body ages. Inner beauty is there throughout and I'll take that any day of the week!

I couldnt agree more... or the reverse is 'heavier' (a whole size 14-16! omg!) and beautiful and yet have a hideously awful attitude... its really about the personality that shines thru and whether that makes you more or less attractive to others as a friend or a lover or everything else in between...
Saying that: Yes, appearance does matter to a point - Ive seen thin and heavier ladies that dress their bodies terribly and Ive seen women of varying sizes dress their themselves incredibly well. (And it has nothing to do with $$$... you can find cheap/affordable things to 'disguise' any flaws or accentuate your 'goods' )
A confident, well put together woman - no matter what their dress size is - far outweighs (yes, pun intended!) the rest!

pencil thin ... fat and well curvy
i would say its all in the eye of the beholder ... not all ppl have a certain type ... i have gone out with a few pencil thin men and i tell ya i would rather date someone with a little meat on their bones .... i like myself with a little meat on my bones ... meaning 10 -15 pound over the norm ... suits my body type better ... plus i have had no complaints so far from my boyfriend ... he loves me the way i am ...
my 0.02 cents worth | |

Curvy will be a womans perfect bell shape. Rounded curves all around, no folds, no sharp bends. The main curves I look at is the round hips to concave waist to the ribcage. :D
Curvy for sure as they have the perfect shape. Sticks do not have a womanly shape. :)

| do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one? Posted: 3/10/2007 11:14:07 AM | Some days I just love being curvalicious!
I'm a very healthy and happy size 11 and will never be a bone rack nor do I care to be. I came with curves, I'm gonna die with curves.
Besides, it isn't the outside that matters it is the substance within that makes the relationship maintain through the rough times.
Yes, initial physical attraction is important, but let's remember one thing...beauty fades, intelligence endures.
My humble opinion as always

They be what makes ya lke to hug and hug and snuggle her to death. The personality is what makes ya desire to keep enjoying the curves. Might as well face it...you're attracted to curves. Pencils require sharpening. Sticks be made of wood. Like driving, curves can be dangerous.

Im not really sure if theres a certain reason for it; I never really went for women who looked like they just stepped out of the beauty salon.
