Angel fish, Sea horse, Barnacle, Starfish, Lobster, Octopus are some of the choices

I suppose the oldies could be barnacles... the Lecherous ones would be Octopus' (or octopi????), those who have a bit of a spiteful side could be lobsters... and complete Ar$eholes would be starfish of course
Which did i chose?? Angelfish of course

| Edit Profile Settings - New Feature - Your Fish Personality ? Posted: 3/14/2007 1:18:11 AM | i've just had a look at them and if you can see it they all have certain traits in the name that can be put to human personalities,
but im not sure whos going to admit to being a shark or a paranah
ive put seahorse, but thats cos i love them not cos i think i have a shared personality with them, cos i didnt pass on my kids to their dad to be born
but having said that, i dont mind my kids being looked after by others in the family so maybe i am like them, and if i did have the choice would i have passed my kids on to be born by their dad????
YES to bl00dy right i would

I am now "Georgiegirl2007 - THE SUNFISH"
I would like a bit more info about what they are supposed to represent.
|
| Edit Profile Settings - New Feature - Your Fish Personality ? Posted: 3/14/2007 1:38:34 AM | I would say that it means you have a sunny disposition GG
I might be wrong, but i feel they are clearly a little bit of fun as to which fish we would see ourselves as... Turtles are the plodders, but determined cos they always get there in the end Sharks, says it all really hahaha There is something about a "bottom" something on there... God only knows who would admit to being one of those... and as for a blowfish
Maybe there should be more.. Seaslugs maybe, what are those things called that go around collecting and devouring peoples left overs??

Maybe Admin or a moderator will let us know in due course what they do if anything
I think I will have problems deciding what to be out of the list given
Maybe I will be a ..... Big mouth bass or a jellyfish...

| Edit Profile Settings - New Feature - Your Fish Personality ? Posted: 3/14/2007 1:41:20 AM | well foxy I've just taken from wikpedia
The ocean sunfish, Mola mola, is the largest bony fish in the world. It is a unique pelagic fish, and specimens of ocean sunfish have been observed up to 3.3 m (11 ft) in length and weighing up to 2,300 kg (5,100 lb).[1]
A member of the order Tetraodontiformes, the ocean sunfish has many derived characters and is the type species of its genus.
The ocean sunfish feeds on jellyfish and other gelatinous, soft bodied zooplankton, as well as small fish and other marine life.
I'm not so sure about being the largest bony fish inthe world, but the eating smaller fish might be accurate!

The larger species are also quite bold and seemingly fearless; they are known to approach divers. While the majority adapt easily to captive life, some are specialist feeders which are difficult to maintain. Feeding habits can be strictly defined through genus, with Genicanthus species feeding on zooplankton and Centropyge preferring filamentous algae. Other species focus on sessile benthic invertebrates; sponges, tunicates, bryozoans, and hydroids are staples.
OK... i am definately the top bit...
They are diurnal animals, hiding amongst the nooks and crevices of the reef by night. Some species are solitary in nature and form highly territorial mated pairs; others form harems with a single male dominant over several females. As juveniles, some species may eke out a living as cleaner fish. Common to many species is a dramatic shift in coloration associated with maturity
Blimey... read into that what you will those who know me
Im going, im supposed to be leaving for work in 2 minutes but i still have a towel on my head

| Edit Profile Settings - New Feature - Your Fish Personality ? Posted: 3/14/2007 2:03:02 AM | I think i'll research the fish later, and perhaps become something a little less sunny!
But then again, maybe I should go with my initial choice, there must have been something about it that drew me to it. Your gut instinct is always very strong for a reason.
Maybe i do wish to prey on the smaller more vulnerable species.
Actually I think I'll stick with the sunfish
The ocean sunfish's unique ability to suck and spit water with its mouth helps it while feeding. - couldn't that be a useful skill!!!!!!!

What purpose do you think this latest 'feature' has? I certainly don't know! Perhaps all us laydeeeez should list ourselves as Sucker Fish - the mail is BOUND to come rolling in, then!

| Edit Profile Settings - New Feature - Your Fish Personality ? Posted: 3/14/2007 4:59:52 AM | Well, I couldn't find the link in my actual 'edit profile' page, but I found a tiddler of a link on the general page, clicked on that and theres a link to a thread in there. Hmmmm, then I clicked on the members in here who have the 'fish' of their choice on their profile and expected to find, maybe, an image of it on the profile page, or even a description of what that fish means.. but no, nothing, and it [/]does look a bit odd sandwiched between the username and profile header..
I'll pass on this | |
