But...I think it's an easy place to hide out; from family, problems, the past, the future, the present, the law, the ex, the IRS, the maddening crowd, reality, success, whatever!
What if we stopped hiding from each other, at least?
Here is my challenge to my fellow dessert rats: get ten new people to sign up for this site!!!
Let's increase are odds, cause frankly, pickins are slim right now! | |

Posted: 3/15/2007 6:32:21 AM | Well I, for one, would LOVE to get more New Mexicans talking to each other, this forum has been dead for ages and it sure would be nice if it came back to life. I live in Silver City but I could get up to Abq for a get-together. Right now I am posting on the Arizona and Texas forums, the Texas one is a lot of fun, even if most ppl on the list are too far away.
New Mexico is great in a lot of ways, the weather is good (usually), the scenery is awesome, there is a lot of peace and quiet. Hard to find a partner here though.

Posted: 5/23/2007 1:04:26 PM | HEY!!! I just recently returned back to New Mexico!! I have been out trotting the globe in the US Army, its not just an adventure!!! So what is going on in here!! Nothing much for me. Just the same ole, gotta go back to school, get a decent paying job, and maybe buy a bass boat or party barge. Though, being able to use that in the local ponds around Central, or shall i say Santa Clara, will be a bit interesting. Any way, i figure post a message here and see what we can get going on here. I am bored as well.  | |
