Posted: 4/19/2005 8:01:37 PM | | A facade is meant for one thing only- to create an illusion to satisfy the senses and place one in a particular desired state of being. I don't agree that anyone should ever feel the need to front in an attempt to get something from me. They are essentially liars that have an ulterior motive. I don't per se hate liars but rather feel sorry for their need to lie in an attempt to appear to be something they are not. Once I catch someone in a lie that is when I will always consider before taking another word they have to say as truth. I will have to decide whether it's plausible to be possibly the truth. I think that is sad but that is what happens when one is dealing with something that feels the need to tamper with actual and factual events. I don't think that liars particularly enjoy doing it but rather it has become a bad habit that is horrendously difficult to break. It becomes an everyday thing that comes naturally to them. A survival mechanism if you will. I have never cared to lie because it is a waste of energy better spent elsewhere. Aside from the fact that it only leads to more lies, which eventually seems to become a full-time job. I can only assume that there would be way too many details to have to remember, what was said to whom, and so on. I tell the truth for the most part. However, I may tell a silly little white lie that doesn't directly affect anyone else. For example, I will be one to say I had a great day when in fact it was boring and completely uneventless. Such a white lie doesn't affect anyone else's well-being. As a result, I tend to suffer the consequences in a most unpleasant way but why bother telling a lie if one knows the outcome is likely to be worse down the road. The lie becomes a gigantic farce of a story that will take on a life of it's own. I can't deal with that shit. Therefore, I would much rather just tell the truth. I will seldomly not admit to my "indecretions" as some might consider them to be. If asked I will answer truthfully. I, on occasion, will do things that most people would never consider doing in the first place. A very small aspect that lends a hand in executing such tasks has everything to do with the fact that I'm a bit too ballsy, guttsy, and fearless for my own good. I primarily do those things because I feel forced almost to take another course of action that ultimately leads me down that path of indecretion. If I could only get my answers without having to literally beg or go ignored, I wouldn't have to stoop so low to get my answers. Afterall, Scoprios are natural detectives. Ironically enough, I tend to cross paths with the truth at no fault of my own. The timing just happened to be perfect for my crossing. It freaks the **** out of me but it has occured one too many times for luck, devine intervention to go unnoticed on my part. Those particular things aren't done to inflict emotional or physical harm to anyone but rather to gain a better insight and set of facts. I know much but keep much more to myself. I will attempt these indescretions with intentions of gaining truth but I certainly wouldn't think I was flawless in my attempt. I can be clever but I would never say error nor fool proof. Secrets are never meant to be kept. They are always found out. My indescretions are one day to be discovered if not admitted by myself first. I would never outright lie if I knew what was being spoken to be the truth. What sort of truth advocate would I be then if I denied my participation? Karma is a **** and she doesn't discriminate regardless of who you are. Time is her bestfriend but together they will make sure we get ours in the end. Be careful of who and how we **** others because we wouldn't want to get our's triple fold or anything now would we?:) There should be no illusion of the truth but rather simply the truth. | |

I have a sloped cro-magnon forehead and so - sadly - I can't plan or do wonderful a-b-c planning but I have told the truth and I have lied to survive. But I am not ashamed and may be able to defend my doctoral thesis...it will be difficult because I wrote it but I have been the one to "live it." How do you do what is truthful when you're surrounded by liars. How - can you live - if everyone is living it up. Utterly content to get ahead and lead you to your demise without even a second notion or caring that you're maybe not as bright, or quick, decisive, or commanding, or tricky (I said it ) as them...smarts and cunning and cleverness sometimes tricks the tricker....because....they deceived themselves...and we see the world as we are...I am surrounded by lovers and allies and friends and family. I love you all. Also, I would wish for more truth..if we can handle it. (many can not handle the truth..because the truth doesn't care...it just is...and its a perception and therefore mutable...and has more than one SIDE) I want to know what this forum post is? what are we talkinga bout...can we use...paragraphs?

Truth is also action. "A great day", with a frown or sweaty brow will decieve your lie; s little or white as you may see it to be.
I hear what you are saying.
"Truth" is a very strong and determined force. And "kharma" is his Katerina...his slayer...his truthsayer.

yup, liars use the lie, and it becomes a habit......later some develop a love for it, it's a tool that they love....... it becomes their savior.
karma comes to get you.........and it's for our own good, a lesson.
some people can't tell, but it's divine.

Posted: 4/19/2005 9:19:30 PM | IT's better to talk about what can be justified in terms of what we can see and discuss than to be slaves of some entity truth - it is probably better for us to talk about what works for us, and can be generalized for others to some degree.
You may not be able to know someone as well as they know themselves, but they will never know themselves as you do know them either. There will alwasy be things about yourself that you don't see that others do, too. Knowing about aspects of others thus has at least 2 uses - so we have some handle on ourselves and what we will do, and so others may or may not have some handle on us. | |

Roman Polanski evaded such a fate by using plastic imitation foreskin. Since we know this today, I guess the truth did eventually come out. But it did save him at the time. So the reality (as far as the Nazis could tell) was that he was not Jewish.
