| Bad voice
Posted: 5/10/2004 12:47:59 AM | Well.. it's me again everyone, sorry for posting again so soon. I recently found a girl on PoF and we started talking, but then she decided she wanted to hear my voice so she called me and this is where it all went down hill. =( I dont hate the fact I have a deep voice, but I am only 18 and my voice is so deep is sounds like Shawn Connery, anyway... she doesn't believe im 18 even though I sent her pictures and tried to convince her I really am 18... Finding people has seemed to be slow and I've noticed we are lacking any way to really talk to each other on a fair rate, so I will be hosting a small channel on sorcery.net mIRC called #PlentyofFish - If the admins have any problem with this please say so, but Im not making any profit from this so im unable to see how you all would but.. Im just trying to help people out. =p =)

The problem that you spoke of with your voice, is sometimes very confusing for girls believing who they are talking to can be the same person in the pics they are looking at.... I have also ran into this same problem, only mine was that the guy I was hearing on the phone, was not the guy that was in the pic on his profile, so this made me very skeptical on guys lying just to get to know someone, so maybe this has also happened to her.... Don't give up hope! Everything in life happens for a reason, itz just trying to figure out the reason that can drive you a little crazy at times! I'm glad that you will still continue to post on here, and we will try to help as much as possible..... Good luck in whatever you do in life!...... | |

Posted: 2/28/2005 7:57:08 AM | Base in a man's voice is attractive, ever try out for radio? You'd be perfect for the stud, romantic talker. A base voice does not fit your picture thou, you are small-average build and should have a less than base voice.
At least you don't have a squeeky voice like me. | |

Posted: 2/28/2005 11:17:57 PM | I feel your pain, Somyr. I've got a situation that's not dissimilar. My voice was, as far as I can remember, perfectly normal in my early 20s and then seemed to drop bit by bit over the next few years. My laugh changed, too, to something sounding like the phantom of the opera (classic "mwuhahaha!") I haven't had it, yet, affect me because I've got enough years on me that a deeper voice doesn't contract my face quite as much as it probably does yours.
The nice thing is that after years of "you should work in radio", I may be at a point in life where I can start to explore something along those lines.

Is there such a thing as a bad voice? I did not ever think this may be because it becomes a part of another human being! My pofer peep, things will be okay and do not allow the sound of your voice prevent you from finding that special partner because somebody out there is going to love you for who you are, at least that is what we all dream about! I think at one time I wrote something in here and someone came on saying I lived in this fantasy world but alas that was just what I had written, my fantasy and if it comes true great for me!  | |
