| | What are you missing?Page 1 of 3 (1, 2, 3) | I'm not sure if this has ever been asked but... Everyone has something or someone they don't have anymore... when you're feeling down or lonely what is it that you miss the most?
For me there are 2 things... falling asleep in someone's arms after a long day and the other is the laughter of my children when they were younger.
I think I know what one person is going to put on here...

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 3:43:06 PM | What am i missing the same as you becky19,when the girl's were younge and home for the night.Hearing them giggle and whispering about their night out. That is when i felt most safe and content. I have never had a realionship that wasn't rocky.I long for that realionship that will make me feel loved and safe. My Mom and Dad if i could have them back for a day,a hour, or a minute. That would be at the top of my list as well. Forever love Mom and Dad | |

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 4:15:35 PM | | Of all the people, things or experiences I might ocassionally miss, my daughters laughter as a child, the feeling of love, compassion and knowing someone will be there no matter what I have to agree with you PEI the thing I miss the most is Mom and Daddy to just be able to give them a hug and kiss and tell them I Love them would be wonderful. I have often thought how wonderful it would be to have them be able to see my boys I know Daddy would have gotten such a charge out of Nickie because he is such a boy's boy, so tough. | |

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 5:43:11 PM | | Well you know what... I am missing no one and nothing tonight. That is probably saddest thing of all, I feel like I should be missing someone or something, but nope. I am home alone too, well my son is in bed. Hmmmmm, maybe I am getting too use to being single, or maybe I've not yet met anyone worth missing anymore. Couldn't say that a few weeks back. Oh well... c'est la vie. | |

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:01:45 PM | Right now I miss my Mommy more than anything... I live close to home so I've always taken for granted that my parents were always there, so it didn't bother me not too see them for a long time. I've never been homesick, never felt the urge to call home just to talk. I've gone months without talking to my parents and it has never bothered me before. I've never wanted to go home...until now.
My parents have been in Florida for 3 months (but come home Saturday) and I can't wait! I've never wanted to be home as bad as I want to be there right now...and I think a big part of it is that fact that I CAN'T see them whenever I want to. But I know I'll probably go home for about an hour and be like "okay...now I want to go back to Freddy."

I miss my waterbed. | |

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:07:45 PM | I miss my Mother tonight. I used to share so much with her, all the good moments of my life were shared with her! I even shared all the dark moments too, and she made it better. She always made it better. I could really use some "Mother Magic" right now. There are things going on that only magic can make better.
I miss my Mother tonight, we used to do crossword puzzles together. She said you could learn a lot about words that way. We used to do jig-saw puzzles together too, we just used to do lots of stuff together. I miss her, tonight and every night.

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:27:32 PM | | Amen to that Lady_Mara. My Father died 5 years before my mother did. I was never that close to Mom before that. After Daddy died Mom and I spent alot of time together. I moved back home so she would not be by herself. She died very suddenly and it was very traumatic for eveyone. I still miss her. | |

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:28:56 PM | Thanks heckcat! I know that you know what i am saying. It is always nice to know that someone else knows what other people go through.
Water bed......hmmmmm......that last time i slept in a waterbed, i got sea sick, but i think that was from all the alcohol i consumed that night and it was not a pretty sight.
But we all learn from our mistakes.
The one thing that i miss the most is my mother, she only lives 1.5 hrs away but sometimes it is hard. I finally now have a new reliable vehichle and she is my life, my friend and she is the main reason i am here and i appreciate everything she does for me no matter how mad she can make me, but that is every mother at one point and time in your life. Am I right or is that just wrong the way i think. Anyways i love her no matter what she does.
Thanks heckcat. Have a good one and chat soon i am sure.

| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:31:12 PM | I miss my son Chad, hes in college in PEI to be a Chef.I am very proud of him but still miss him. I miss some of the friends I lost that cannot deal with the fact I have cancer and only have 1-2 years left. | |
|
| What are you missing? Posted: 3/19/2007 6:46:44 PM | Then let's make those years count. You have a whole bunch of new friends now, and the ones you miss aren't gone, they're just in shock and will be back by your side very soon.
In the meantime, what can we all do to make you smile today? Since we can't change anything, how about we help you make the best of things right now. I go to PEI quite often, want to come along with me on my next trip? I can make that next one happen any time you want !
