| Frist Album/cassette/CD? Posted: 3/20/2007 11:39:38 AM | First album was most definitely "The Wizard of Oz" as my dad made a huge point of telling me it was in "stereo" and therefore it could be played on the new turntable, lol (and not on the portable like the books on record I had)
First cassette was a tape my friend made for me of "The English Beat" since I was always taking his Walkman at lunch to listen to it.
First CD was one of Moe Koffman's. And I bought it at one of his gigs at "George's" months before I even owned a CD player! He autographed it for me! :)

I still have my late Mom's 8 track player (and tapes) with built in amp, AM/FM radio and accompanying turntable. I also have an extra turntable my sister gave me and some of her old records from the 50's, as well as some of my very vontage Al Jolson records. I gave away some Elvis records.
I have my television hooked up to the stereo in case I need more volume, like when there is a car race on or a good song.
