I've never been to that other site and certainly don't intend to ... especially now. So, their marketing strategy may just backfire on them. | |

They obviously want to gain attention for themselves and Plentyof Fish has credibility they do not, they are trying to gain from POF"S recognition. Anyone who cares to check it out will know better. Did you notice they say "OFFER" this usually indicates purchse...so of course they are going to try to pardon the term "LURE" people to their site. If I were POF I woud not necessarily be bothered by these folks BUT I would stay on top of design factors so that the spiders that help you find what you put in to the search engine always get the REAL Plenty of Fish. The graphic arts web design class I took last year warned that you have to stay on top of it or you can find yourself pages down in the search results. I have POF on my desk top so I have no idea maybe POF is always first entry on a search. | |

Anyway, PoF members aren't spending any of their hard earned money to be considered losers. That makes them SMARTER alleged losers than the alleged losers who pay money to dating sites because they think that makes them somehow a better class of alleged loser. I'll go for "smart" over "spends money foolishly" ANY day!

Posted: 3/24/2007 7:05:52 AM | LOSERS ??? what ?? only thing we are losing is the hassle it takes to cancel from those other sites once you joined them. No phony rewards if you agree to stay a member.
I like POF. Im totally happy with paying nothing for all this free entertainment and the occasional date. Any site is good it really depends how much time you put into it.. I like this no hassle site. Noone has ever called me asking for my credit card number. | |
