| Men Do You Really Want The "Outdoorsy" Type ...? Posted: 3/24/2007 5:18:34 AM | And just what the heck is the "outdoorsy" type anyway???
I've read it on many profiles where I've received mail from guys. "Looking for the outdoorsy type."
Does that men we have to pee standing up, spit, scratch our crotch at random, chop wood, overhaul an engine, go back to the crotch to re-arrange it, build big fire, kill and skin the local critters for dinner, kayak, mountain climb, pitch a tent, oh my gawd - find the way to some remote site where we set up camp under the stars - without asking for directions, and crank our head until our neck snaps everytime some good looking deer dashes by with big bazoomba's ????
Is that the "outdoorsy" type? So then I'm thinking well guys, if you're looking for a gal who can do all those things, you're likely better off finding yourself a compatible guy!
Do you want us soft and warm, or rough and rugged?
Go ahead - make my day - enlighten me boys.

Yes, there are sweaters. I am very happy I have found someone who likes (now don't take this the wrong way) being warm too.

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ... ? Posted: 3/24/2007 12:07:17 PM | I think all women are born as outdoorsy type, some just get converted to being a little to prissy for some men to take. Let see If you make a decision to try something like roller blading, skating, skiing or some other type of outdoor physical activity, based on whether or not you will break a nail that may mean you are not the outdoorsy type. Growing up I don't remember to many girls that worried about that until high school, then everyone got put in a category by the way you wore your hair or the people you hung out with. I don't think you need to pee standing up to qualify as being the outdoorsy type, just doing thing in moderation is what most men are looking for in a women. It's nice to be able to do thing spontanesously without having to check first if its going to chip the paint and screw up the manicure. | |

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ... ? Posted: 3/24/2007 12:18:35 PM | hahahaha You girls make me laugh.
Listen...I've had to learn how to pee from the side of a boat. My bf at the time used to whine and complain about having to go to shore for my squats. Well geez dude, we've been drinking beer since breakfast!!! *sings the beer for breakfast song* lol But once you have the "hang" of it...it's quite easy.
I hope men love the outdoorsy type. I have everything I need to camp. I can go out myself and be fully capable of surviving for weeks at a time. The further away from the city the better. I've been camping in places so remote, you need to cross two lakes, a small creek and beaver damns just to get there.
Is it camping weather yet?

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ... ? Posted: 3/24/2007 12:35:56 PM | I have to say...I am probably the moderation kind of girl. I do like to dress up girlie and make sure my purse and shoes match...do the hair, makeup ...that sort of thing.
That being said...I have tented with out power and running water....yes...no hairdryers, curling irons, etc....and NO MAKEUP. Actually...I quite enjoy it and this chickie is never worried about breaking a nail.
By the way...what color nail polish goes with camouflage?

Well you saw my nail polish collection a couple weeks ago...I'm pretty sure there was one in there for ya. I even have a black one. We can get creative.
I've always laughed at my gf's who couldn't go camping unless we were at an electrical site and in a camper. Girls...camping isn't about being in a fashion show. Put a hat on ffs.

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ...? Posted: 3/24/2007 1:28:04 PM | | It would be good to have an outdoorsy woman for when the commies finally invade or when the zombies finally show up. That way when when our society crumbles we'll be able to flee into the woods and she won't be all afraid to get her make up all smeared or nails broken and such. I guess if none of that ever happens a girley-girl would be just as good, so long as her scented soaps and potpourri don't make my eyes burn. | |

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ...? Posted: 3/24/2007 1:42:33 PM | It would appear that a lot of them do, as I am constantly amazed at how many women list camping, fishing, hunting and the like as interests. Far more than I have even met in the real world. Probably just a coincidence. I notice mostly because those pursuits hold no interest to me, so I simply click "next". Being able to stand while urinating will have limited application in any sort of relationship with me, though I think everyone needs a hobby. | |

| Men Do You Really Want The Outdoorsy Type ...? Posted: 3/24/2007 4:10:57 PM | Up until a few years ago I would have said the I was the Outdoorsy Type. I guess maybe I still am...a bit.....sometimes.......think age has something to do with it......plus the UV rays. No need for tanning already brown enough. But anyways when I was younger most of my jobs were non-traditional ........painting....construction.....carpentry......and yes even worked for the City for a number of years. I said work because I think I was the only one that did........ | |
