| then came history now tracked threads ? Posted: 3/26/2007 8:12:11 PM | Just noticed this feature as well.
I'm guessing that it's another way to show others what you're interested in. I did opt to track one thread and noticed it said everyone would be able to see the thread was being tracked by me. Where it shows who's tracking a thread... I don't know.

| then came history now tracked threads ? Posted: 4/19/2007 12:14:40 PM | When in the forums on some individuals when I click on the main page I get a tracked threads link on others I don't.
If I hit the link no matter who I was looking at I get the tracked threads for mythreads, who does not appear to be a real member of POF
FYI
TIA

| then came history now tracked threads ? Posted: 1/12/2009 8:50:36 AM | Look up on the top of this thread and all the way to the right you'll see "Tracked Threads". Click there and it will take you to all your threads you are tracking. On the left of each thread the word "delete" will appear. Click on whichever threads you wish to delete.

To get there without being on a specific thread click on Forums My Forums Tracked Threads..(which is located on top center of the page....to the right of where it says..View Last 25 Posts by your name HERE)
**(sometimes when the page with your tracked threads is displayed, you won't see the word "delete" to the left of the threads. If that's the case simply click on the words "tracked threads" on the right and the delete words will appear.

| FEATURE: Thread Tracking Posted: 1/12/2009 4:01:26 PM | | How do you stop tracking a thread? I was tracking my own now everyone can read my story on my profile and i don't want that to happen. | |

I was tracking my own now everyone can read my story on my profile and i don't want that to happen. Tracking has nothing to do with your posts showing up on your profile. That happens no matter what and can't be changed. If you don't want people knowing things about you, don't post them on the internet.

| FEATURE: Thread Tracking Posted: 1/8/2011 12:39:31 PM | I still have my "Tracked Thread" list but I no longer have a "Track this Thread" Button on any of the threads I'm reading these days. So I'm no longer able to add any threads to my tracking list. Is this feature on the way out? | |

Thanks Molly What a disappointment. .... and I have no idea why my searches didn't pull up that thread. Thanks for the link.

| FEATURE: Thread Tracking Posted: 1/24/2011 3:05:59 PM | I'm really missing the thread tracking feature. I've been manually jotting down the Forum/Thread name, for threads I want to follow. That system is gettin' really old really fast. But I don't want to post something lame, simply to track the thread with My Forums. Although, judging by the quality of the Forums lately, a LOT of people are doing exactly that! Has anyone here come up with some other system that works? | |

Manually? Jotting? as in pen to paper? Pen, yes. Paper, no. Thanks guys, the bookmark idea sounds mooch-o better-o. Still doesn't have a "Last Post" method of seeing when something's new, but it sure beats what I've been doing. Started in my hand and filled up my left arm. Up to my chin now and can't see what I've written.

| FEATURE: Thread Tracking Posted: 4/30/2011 10:09:23 PM | Ok, I clicked on the link on a previous post because I don't see a "track this thread" either. So unless we post in a thread we can't track it? Strange, but ok. Not sure I want to do the fav folder thing. I did post to 3 forums yesterday but my posts are not there. Maybe I was timed out or something. I'll figure this out in a minute. | |

So unless we post in a thread we can't track it? That's correct. The Bookmarking idea works better than nothing though. But posting to every thread you want to track works even better than that. (puts it on your My Forums list).
I did post to 3 forums yesterday but my posts are not there. Are the threads there?? I've made several posts lately only to see the whole thread go *Poof!!*

| FEATURE: Thread Tracking Posted: 4/20/2012 11:29:59 AM | ^^^^^ because it was eliminated long ago. Thats why this thread suggests other ways to track threads currently available.

A. "Tracked Threads" feature first appeared 5 years ago. B. It may not ever have been fully implemented. C. But the "Tracked Threads" hyperlink (to a page with an empty table) will continue to appear on every forum thread users are reading? Bingo.
