I wonder if this guy realizes how stupid he sounds . Seems like all he does is criticize NBC[MSNBC] . He is supposed to be some sort of news commentator and talk about news. I find it highly unprofessional to come on the air and blast your competition for 2 hrs and maybe another hr on tv [don't watch fox].This is guy is a colossal joke. Remember the old saying you point a finger at others and 4 come back at you. Am I the only one who sees this ? Because I think with Olbermann, all the Dateline shows, Chris Matthews and even Joey Scarborough[different political views than I] that this network is far superior to FOX . Now I am allowed to say that because I do not work for either. This Bill O'Reilly needs to see a shrink because hes a very critical person of all his competition and hes nasty and a namecaller as well. | |

Posted: 3/28/2007 11:30:31 AM | To be frank, I think O'Reilly is doing the smart thing in attacking (MS)NBC. His bread and butter is the money he gets from Fox; his radio show only gets the spillover from his TV show (the radio show tends toward the bottom of the ratings in every market); if he uses his radio show to attack Fox competitors, his main employers will be happy with him.
He gets reasonable TV ratings, but the demographics are the worst in the history of television. Average viewer is 67; less than a third of his viewers are 25 - 55. You could run Beverly Hillbillies reruns and get the same demographics with bigger numbers. Picture the old folks on the Simpsons crying out for Matlock and you have a mental picture of O'Reilly's audience.
Apple isn't too interested in trying to sell ipods to this group; Pepsi figures they spent the money to get brand loyalty on them 50 years ago; Sony doesn't see them as a target for the next slasher flick nor the PS 3. The fact is Fox could generate higher advertising rates with someone who only pulls in half the ratings of O'Reilly. He has a job, is overpaid for it and he knows it. I'd dance to my master's tune for a seven figure salary too. | |

I like O`rielly because he is pushing for tougher time for child molestors , right now child molestors all but get a slap on the wrist. | |

Rating do not mean credibility and the fact Fox news consists basically of bashing other news outlets shows the sleaziness of the entire organization. National Enquirer gets high readershp, so even if Fox does have ratings, which I believe they are falling anyway , it means nothing as far as credibility.Basically the FOX news team consists of a bunch of insecure people that do not debate facts but namecall. Posted: 3/29/2007 11:44:39 PM | I don't care much for his style and if I am going to listen to one of the insulting radio political blowhard types it is usually The Savage Nation. Haven't listened to him in at least six months now. He is a very on his toes thinker.
But I do notice that self promotion trend now more than ever. I often wonder if Leno's superiors have not ordered his writers to make jokes about NBC shows that are absolutely bombing, hoping a few jokes about them will lead more viewers to them thus raising the dying shows ratings.
Craig Ferguson is doing the same thing, making bad jokes about CBS shows because they KNOW this has the opposite effect -- people tune in to see what all the noise is about. It's getting rather pathetic. Is the average audience so dumb they don't see this? | |

The media is controling the press, and we are not hearing alot about what is going on here in America, and Internationaly. Freedom of the Press assumes that the 'press' will give all sides. The newspapers, TV news, the UPI and stuff, were all bought up and 'consolidated' a little while ago, but not Fox. Then came a monkey wrench into the Illuminati plans. The internet! They can't control it, and people are learning about what is going on is SPITE of their dominance. But how many people know about the 'squibs' seen on footage of the towers, that show a computer controlled demolition? How many people know that people working on that Ground Zero are dying from chemical weapons? Or that we are using radioactive shells in fighting in Iraq? Not many, but the info is on the web, if you look. There is no longer total blackout of info. Bill is just not cognizant of how deep it goes, and does not realize he could be eliminated if he starts convincing people. I don't know, but I would not be surprised if he is getting gang stalking right now. That is a corporate modus operendi. And if he says anything, everyone would think he's nuts. That is the way it works. Try educateyourself on google to learn more. Sure, the guy can be obnoxious, but what if he is right? Satan is really nice, good looking, and smart. Take your pick. Personally I don't think O'Reilly is "unprofessional" and I don't think that he is a "joke." I agree with most of what he is saying and yeah I prefer Fox to other news stations. It is only because I am Christian, a businessman, white and nerdy, and I have friends who are in the military. The other stations are not really into my demographics. | |

I dont know about Canad where you live but let me tell you, in the US where Oreilley lives, grass roots courts currently are very very tough on child molesters - heavy prison sentences and the restrictions on registered sex offenders limit where they can live and follow them their whole lives. Child Molestations is dealt with very harshly in the US. | |
