| The King Of Queens Posted: 4/9/2007 10:15:56 PM | It's down to it's last few new episodes.
It's been one of the very, very few comedies I've actually enjoyed watching and actually laughed at over the last few years.
Anyone else enjoyed this show over the years?

Very light hearted, and not booged down with all the up dated crap people are tring to call normal now days. (And no I wont go into what crap, are normal is. If someone don't know then oh well.)

But they love each other - they are an example of regular guy getting the hot girl - because Carrie was always hot and Doug - well Doug is Doug- I have not watched it this season at all - so I have no idea what is going on and I didnt even know it was going off the air- Wow - it was a funny show-

| The King Of Queens Posted: 1/2/2009 9:19:40 PM | While it is true that Doug scored someone out of his league physically, Carrie is really mean and psychologically abusive to him. In almost every episode I have seen, she is yelling at him and trying to change the essence of who he is. I believe that Doug was either on the wrestling and/or football team in high school and/or college. Women, like Carrie, dig that sort of stuff, so she married him. As far as I am concerned, she married someone who was pretty dumb, and now she constantly tries to "better" him in an effort to poo-poo the thought that she may have picked the wrong man. Not fair to him at this point in the ballgame.
What really struck me is today's rerun where Carrie dictates to Doug the type of sexual fantasies he can have. What kind of psycho is she???

| The King Of Queens Posted: 1/2/2009 11:30:26 PM | I really enjoy this show as well. Carrie is a typical "east coast" controlling broad.
Funny thing is I have been following Leah Remini since her early days on Saved By The Bell. But a few mmonths ago I saw her on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Talk about controlling, stuck up, and very impatient. Jay was asking her some stuff and she just laid into him for overtalking her.
Then a friend mine saw her right after thanksgiving in L.A. and she was ouright rude to him while she was waiting for a cab. He said showbiz has gone to her head, and she really isn't that much of a "big-named" actress either.

I really enjoy her character on the show...I love her accent, she's funny when she gets all rough with people.
The mean wife who bugs me with how mean she is, is Patricia Heaton on Everybody Loves Raymond.
