| New Hampshire/Massachusetts Get Together Interest? Posted: 4/13/2007 5:13:49 PM | | I was thinking about trying to organize a POF get together for the New Hampshire/Massachusetts area. Is there any interest out there? Any ideas? I was thinking Canobie Lake State Park (Salem, NH) or Hampton Beach in August. If there's any interest, let's work together.... | |

Manchester is the largest city north of Boston, and it certainly has an abundance of nice restaurants and meeting places. If we are just talking about 50 or fewer people, Newick's (seafood, really good and pretty reasonable prices) has a large meeting room for these kind of get togethers. If the group is less than 30, there are lots of venues around Manchester that also have good food. Manchester may also be a good pick because of its central location and the fact that three major freeways run right into it. Being close to Manchester Airport, there are several nice hotels in the city.
Perhaps we should figure out how many people we will be able to get first.

Once you have the first few organizers, it helps to have at least two or three months to get the word out and start rounding people up.
Once we've got a date, time, and location, it should be easier to see who wants to show.

I'll definitely put it on the top of my profile, so more people will see it. No reason to keep it a secret. Is anyone willing to reserve a location somewhere? I'm sure that we could get at least a few dozen people if we can start letting people know right off the bat.

| New Hampshire/Massachusetts Get Together Interest? Posted: 4/25/2007 9:33:45 AM | | I might be interested, but not in Newicks. I've seen what they do to lobsters in the kitchen when you aren't looking! Hmmm...Large groups, large groups....I'll have to give this some thought. What about a park such as Greeley in Nashua or a visit to the Brewery in Merrimack? Needs more thought.... | |

There are a few other places... but I need to do more research. Will post more when I have more. Woo Hoo PARTY!!! lol

| New Hampshire/Massachusetts Get Together Interest? Posted: 6/6/2007 1:52:41 PM | Hi,
I was thinking about maybe a bowling night, volleyball night all can attend or a big barbeque where everyone brings something for everyone.
tons of things to do to get together. I am not an amusement kinda gal so canobie lake is out for me. there are tons of state parks we all can go for even if we had to pay 5.00 to park the car just to use the grounds. could be fun.

| New Hampshire/Massachusetts Get Together Interest? Posted: 6/12/2007 6:22:49 AM | | So, we have to figure out what range / distance we are talking about in order to come up with a middle point and activity (i.e. bowling, barbecue, etc.). Any ideas on that? | |
