I have my mail settings so that users without a photo cannot mail me. It doesnt seem to be working though, since a couple of users without pics have messaged me. I've cleaned my computer, as well as reset my mail settings a couple of times and it still doesnt work! Is there a glitch or something I can do? Thanks!
I'm not sure that this feature is still working, I have received a number of 'first contact' e-mails from people who have no image on their profiles, even though my settings ask that this not be allowed. Is there something I'm missing?
Users with hidden images could email. The system has now been changed so that only users with images on their profile can email.
then there's nothing preventing someone from exposing themselves (per se) momentarily, shoot off an email, then go back into seclusion - that may be the answer.

That feature wasn't finished till today.
And in posts after this it eludes (unless I misunderstood, do not think I did although, I might have though) that you have to have a picture showing on your profile to email people?

it had no answer to my confusion. I took mine off my profile (showing) because mine are not a full facial-only a partial facial-and I can still send emails. So am I missing something? Or is it because I was a member long before this went into affect and had pics of me out there before and they are just now hidden on my profile?
I don't want all of mine to get axed, tis why I took them off from showing, or loose my email privaledges (I have quite a few friends here and am making more). I'm quite upfront with people if they are that anal about pictures from the start then they need to email someone else, it is my choice not theirs...so just curious (yes I know, curiousity killed the cat )
... then People without Profile Pictures should not be able to 'E-mail' you, unless of Course Someone sought to circumvent your Filter as indicated by the Link I posted in my previous Post above.
Likewise, if other Users have also selected a Profile Picture Requirement, and you do not have a Pic on your Profile, you are restricted from E-Mailing them.

That is an entirely seperate Issue, and has nothing to do with E-Mails at all.

It has not yet been enforced via the Upload Page, but Moderators will revoke Image upload Priviledges if your main Pic renders you not recognizable.
Those that I have had out there have been there for at least 8-9 months, the last one I uploaded was a full shot of me so no issues there. Even the partial of my face makes me recognizable in person...have not had anybody miss me yet with just seeing that part of my face

I had changed my profile name as I had too many o's in loon. I redid my profile, but now I only receive mail that I had to go back and retrieve the names off of the site. I have 3 messages waiting, but I cannot retrieve them please assist me with this??
