I just had to start a Big Brother thread.. Well its time again for Big Brother commencing this sunday. I so don't want to watch the show, but I am compelled to.. (ooh someone stop me please). I hate the show but I just can't help myself.

Something that Gretel said I have a feeling that this year's show is going to have a diverse range of different nationalities. Wouldn't surprise me after what happened in the UK with the Indian actor.

Thoughts, feelings on BB.. and of course weekly opinions.

It's cheap, nasty, sensational, cruel, brainless television I just can't help watching!

OK, I need help. You may as well take away the PC while you're at it.

its human nature to be curious what other humans do, especially in a controlled environment.

i love bb!! its such a great laugh and provides terriffic debating material roflmao!!

does anyone remember when they had the 2 houses?
the experiment was 2 different age groups then they mixed it up a little. i have to say the older house was far more entertaining than the younger house.

but then again i do fall into that 'older' groups roflmao!!

theres so much mindless crap on tv lately you just gotta enjoy it. if you want doco's and heartbreaking news reports get foxtel and bleed ya little heart out.

for pure entertainment value watch free to air tv lmao!!

Hey is that for real, no prize money or cars.. !! Judging from last year I dont they would care too much about the money at the start, it's only towards the end they may start to think in $$$ terms.

I wonder what the theme is about this year.. hmmm

Now I will be away this w/e, but it still won't stop me watching it. Man I need help !!

roflmao!!

i love seeing all there people down bb. its a riot!!

9 time out of 10 they will watch at least 1 episode.

but then i guess its a bit like me watching footy.. id rather dye my eyelashes with peroxide in a dark room than watch the football!!

you either like it or you hate it. and if you hate it why waste your time spewing your negativity on its thread roflmao!! think about it!

from what ive heard so far the house and contestants will be going 'green'. they will be helping the environment from the inside.

i think the house is going to be environmental to the point where power may be manufactured by the contestants eg. pedal power!!

but thats just a thought from what ive read so far

I've already been voted out of my home. The kids have taken over the tv and I have no choice apparently on Sunday night....it's big bother. I wonder how surprised they will be to have to watch this program on the small portable tv? My house rules lol

It's funny how the show is perceived as "reality" television, when most of the events and happenings are planned or manipulated by the producers and then portrayed in any sequence they like, to show a semblance of spontaneity. Everyone must know this, yet people are still believing everything they see, to be how it's actually happening. It's the clash/connection of personalities that seems to be the catalyst behind the producers decisions. Doesn't sound too much like real life to me, but certainly sets up a healthy environment for a b!tch fight. Everyone loves a b!tch fight!

isn't it wonderful to watch human nature at its best!

sure the situations are controlled, and outcomes expected - but what I love is watching people portray themselves to be one thing, but then reacting in a totally different way! Shows how people perceive themselves, but more so shows their true being by their reaction.

Yeah - bring it on! I love a good laugh on a sunday night!

.... Shows like BB show you that you shouldn't take life to seriously.....With all the crap that is happening in the world in the last week, to step out of reality for an hour on Sunday night will be quite refreashing.....

I hope they still get the cars, it's a small prize for taking off your gear on national tv.

I still remember the look on that bloke's face last year when he got the scooter, it was hilarious!

I'd rather watch BB than any footy too, at least they get into those **** fights, I reckon it's better than the soaps (don't watch them) and the blokes are usually toned and fabulous...
