1. You start with 600 points and you can have up to 6,000 points at any one time. You gain 60 points for every day you are active on the site. Points are updated at midnight PST. Each wink costs 20 points. The more active you are the more winks you can send. Winks don't appear as email but instead look like a search. http://www.plentyoffish.com/view_winks.aspx

Hi there can't say that I understand the point of the "points" or the winks. I like the roses, although if you send them to a friend then your significant other tends to freak. Well I hope that I get a wink because I am not sure I will give one until I get one. Thank Qt

can we block winks? If some of us have chosen to implement the minimum words restriction on first messages, so we don't recieve brain-dead 6 word emails, then why would we want to recieve winks?

Is there an example of a wink where one can view? Perhaps you'd care to explain more in detail how the 'winks' and 'points' work please? PS: Why is midnight PST important? Why not 9 PST for example.

can we block winks? it's not going into your mailbox....you have a link up top that allows you to "view links"....so blocking them is as easy as 'not' clicking on the link...........i think...:)

I don't get this winks thing...a friend sent a wink, but it shows my picture when i view them!! WTF??? I'm confuzzled! Shouldn't it allow me to see the user that winks me? I don't like this at all! And where does it show your total points??

9 pm Eastern (est) comes hours before 9 pm pacific (pst) .. If you want to be awake at midnight pst and live in the est zone you have to stay up until 3 am your time
