When will some people understand the concept of being close/open minded A person who refuses to look at all sides of an issue is in my definition close minded. A person who has looked at all sides of an issue and comes to a conclusion different from the presenter is NOT close minded. I get so fed up with the whiners and hard criers and the know-it-alls-who will call someone close minded just because they don't agree with the whats been presented them. It happens in real life and it happens in these forums all the time. It's the most overused phrase out there in my opinion. Thats my rant Goom-Bye

Well, that's certainly being closed-minded about closed-minded people, isn't it? You obviously aren't seeing things in the "right" way. Paddy, you joke a lot on the forums. How often could you use your sense of humor without people who liked to point their fingers at others? Where would we be without narrowly minded people? Who would I make fun of? I think these people are great! I get a good laugh out of them!

Paddy, While I agree with your definition whole-heartedly, I must disagree with your assertion: It's the most overused phrase out there in my opinion. I believe that distiction goes to the word, "Shallow". Then close-minded, with 'Nice Guy' a very 'close' third. Good Rant!
