I have a bar in Bay Shore and Perhaps a bar in Huntington
I am going to check out that bar sometime this month.
I was told the bar in Huntington was small? And from
Saturday night awesome turn out would not fit in it for sure.
Okay here are my questions. Please give me feed back.
Should I do an age bracket just a thought idea here like
21-35
35-++++
or something like that?
For the young crowd I would do something hip and fun and a different time.
Also
Would everyone mind paying five buck's at the door?
If that is the case. I can get food out for everyone. Perhaps

I think it's a great idea and 5 dollars, I doubt, would break anyone's bank to attend. So you can count me in once it gets all final. I missed the one in Wantagh as well. To be honest, I actually forgot about it or I would have gone. As far as the age bracket, to be honest, I think it should be open to any age from this website considering the website is made for 18+ and let the people at the gathering determine who they talk to and who they don't. I was at Wantagh with my friend Time for US 2 and we had a good time and are definetly up for another. I don't think you will have a problem charging $5.oo, but I thing you should definetly throw in some "Ice breakers" as that could be fun. Maybe for another get together you can do a bowling party 2 girls 2 guys on a team, order some heros and have some fun. Okay, so I'm in - Bayshore is good! $5.00 is good! Now we just have to pick the date??? Is there a place that offers bowling, but is still just good as a bar so if people don't bowl they will come anyway? I was thinking more along the lines of a 70's Theme Party, or a Country/Western party!! But then again, I'm strange that way!! lol

I wanted to throw in ice breaker's in wantagh. but i may have a big/smart azz mouth. But deff not loud enough to voice over that huge turn out. But this time will be ice breaker's for sure. I felt bad for the shy one's. I really wanted to do them that night too. I think I will invest in a speaker or something. Or use Maria big mouth? HAHA luv ya. Mz Thang lol.
While we search for place's. We will check in on the bowling place's too. But, bowling will be costly. And not sure how that will turn out. I know for a bowling game alone is five bucks and rent shoes is five buck's and so on. Deff look into that see what happen's. Use that for the winter time though? Or maybe in the summer time and get a deal on it. Shall see for sure.

As for a age, that can work too, but it seems that may be a way to go sometimes, but some people will be left out who may want to come out for the fun and times that you are having. Younger people, older people, can always look for groups of their own in places, especially if it is open to all ages, remember the old addage, birds of a feather flock together, well if enough come, I am sure there will be people there for everyone to mix with. Maybe the way would be to set up tables for certain ages?
I will be watching to see when and where this meet comes off, and $5 or $10 at the door wouldn't be a big hastle for anyone out for a good time and to cover some of the expenses of the gathering. May make it for more in the future and more to do. | |
