| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 7:43:57 AM | | Aboslutely not, because I could never do that to another person even if I don't know them. I know how I'd feel if I was married and found out my husband had a mistress, so I would never intentionally put myself in the position of the other woman. | |

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 7:46:17 AM | Haaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllllllll No!!!
Two reasons: 1. Show a little bit more respect for others, not to mention yourself. 2. Some husbands have guns and have no problems in using them.

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 7:50:04 AM | resounding response so far ...seems like no one will be fighting the corner for the survival of affairs on here...Soul Dragon...not sure if you meant that last comment to be personal but not really necessary was it?!
SO then what if people are still married but separated does that make it ok?

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 7:50:47 AM | This is the stupidest question and I presume the one who posted it has never been cheated on.
I have a big problem helping someone cheat on their spouse/significant other. I don't care what is going on that you want to cheat you are either in the relationship or you aren't. You CANNOT have it both ways.
I know how much it hurts to be cheated on. And never mind finding out through word of mouth. Try catching them in the act. You should be ashamed of yourself.....

Its not the stupidest question, because infidelity is the second largest reason people get divorced....so obviously theres a whole world of mistresses/boy toys out there.

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 7:54:53 AM | Diggy, this is not about me. When did I ever say I was having an affair or thinking about having one? This is a forum to discuss topical issues and to assess public opinion.
Rule # 203 Never presume and never assume. When you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME
I am not having an affair everyone lol..I am asking question sto gauge response seeing as this is a forum for opinions so lets keep the comments to opinions and not personal attacks on individuals.

So any thoughts on the next stage then..is it ok to be in a relationship with someone who is separated? Not divorced or widowed but just separated.

Its ok, but its a situation you have to monitor carefully...alot of married couples get seperated once or twice before either giving it the ax or getting back together for good

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 8:17:31 AM | Well lah-di-dah!!!
I never assume anything...... presume, yes sometimes.
My apologies that my post gave the wrong impression and that I came across as presuming things that aren't even there.... the brain is usually a few notche's ahead of where it should be
So no I wouldn't ever date a married man.
If he was separated I honeslty don't know as I've never been in that situation before. I'll have to get back to you on that once that arises

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 8:17:51 AM | | ronniroo...wel not much debate here really then it seems that no-one is welling to defend the idea and yet it is still a major factor in people's marriages across the world. Maybe those kind of people just don't go on forums like this! lol | |
|
| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 8:23:16 AM | yes, it is a major factor in marriages worldwide .... but it relates to a trust issue here...and there is always the possibility that as the outside party, you may want more of what you can't have....
plus, would you want to find out someone that was supoosed to be faithful to you has been doing someone else? or many someone's?
The pit or rock in your stomach feel doesn't go away easily...

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 8:26:03 AM | | My wife always tells me, that if i fool around with someone else, just don't have feelings for her, lust only. Later, we ended up bringing in a third occasionaly, just for fun. I went overseas, and she expected me to find companionship. She told me, that as long as i didn't fall in love, and it was just to have sex and relieve tension, she didn't and doesn't mind. | |

No seriously NAVY is the first one to come in FOR relationships with married people. Does it make it OK if it is just pure lust and not a "relationship"?

| Would you date a married man or woman? Posted: 4/26/2005 8:30:45 AM | | Exactly, just a little on the side. Thats why you find a person that wants the same as you, just a little fun. You have to be upfront with the person....don't lie about being married. Let them know you are married, won't leave your wife, not looking for any committment. If thats not your bag, then thats cool too. | |
