| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? and related questions Posted: 5/5/2007 12:11:54 AM | | Ok, I have no idea who put that test together, but how do I get it off my profile? To start with, it no where comes near to who I am in too may essential areas. In fact, it is trash. I am a L.C.S.W. and have given the MMPI many times and have also taken it many times. The conclusion that this test reached has no merit what so ever for me and I doubt it does for anyone else either. | |

| Compat test Posted: 5/5/2007 12:31:09 AM | | I'm afraid I don't know how to get that off the profile...but I found that MY test results were incredibly accurate. Actually, ridiculously accurate. I'm hoping that instead of simply deleting the results, they make it an option on the profile. | |

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/5/2007 6:11:58 AM | I took it and the results were wrong so I went back to the link to try and re-take it. The page that came up had remove results or add results to my profile. Try this link:

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/5/2007 8:29:07 AM | | I had such high hopes. I thought I'd be the first one brave enough to post the results. But nooooooo. I found myself laughing at the conclusions drawn. HA! Thanks for saving me $60. | |

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/5/2007 9:38:44 AM | Good question. And, this is precisely why I've not taken the test myself -- apprehension about not being able to remove the results if they appeared unsuitable or well, wrong.
Sure, it's great for those who like their results. But, what about the rest? Are we stuck with our test results being left on display?
I really am hoping that it's more useful than this site's "Rate People" feature, which is whimsical for many if not most.

The conclusion that this test reached has no merit what so ever for me and I doubt it does for anyone else either. Someone who administers such a test and has taken it many times, is apt to be unable to take the test with equanamity, imo (too much tester bias is likely to seep through).

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/5/2007 11:30:35 AM | Not even remotely me.. I love groups... and meeting folks... and the scores said I didn't... I am wondering how they score this... it said I am low in self control and have regrets.. so not true I rarely regret anything I do.. and tend to make decisions that will keep me safe...

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/12/2007 2:33:58 PM | to remove your test results off your profile, go to the top of your profile and you will see compatiblity...click on it an it shows two options...add to your profile or remove it....when you remove it...it wont show up. hope this helps. | |

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/12/2007 5:43:49 PM | I made the test as well. Hahaha, I'm not sure if I like the results, but it certainly was accurate. At least it gave me some things to think about. Is it really added to my profile? I'll have to check that out, but, if the results are in there, I will not delete it. Why should I if I think the result is right?
Have a good time everybody!

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/13/2007 9:33:19 AM | Test was pretty rubbish for me also. Said the following "you very much desire having children in the future" even though I clicked Disagree to the Wants children question.
Think this feture needs a bit more work by the POF team.

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/14/2007 7:54:29 PM | I figured it would somehow compare your test with the person you were viewing and show a compatibility rating like some of the other sites show. Or do we have to remember our results word for word and compare them ourselves?
I chose to show mine but I'm considering removing it. Some of it is true and some isn't.

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/14/2007 8:09:33 PM | | I'm not sure how to view SOMEONE ELSE's results. When I look at someone's profile, it shows either N/A or View, but if I click on View I just get my OWN results. What am I doing wrong? | |

you're doing it right - you are viewing their results - it's conceivable that you've hit someone with some of the same traits as you - check the compatability of the person's profile above you - it's different.
Perhaps the label "Your" would be best removed to alleviate the confusion.

Then everybody I looked at is exactly like me.
I tried reloading the page....still same results.

| Compatibility Test - How to get it off Profile? Posted: 5/14/2007 9:28:43 PM | Then everybody I looked at is exactly like me. You didn't mention if you viewed the person in post#18 (as I noted in my prior post), one of the sections is different than yours.
Apologies to user in post 18 for using you as an example :)
