| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:20:32 PM | Dating or having a relationship with a nudist: Would you be open to the idea or is this something you wouldn't considerate/want? Why?
I am aware that nudists in general don't do it in a sexual way , get used to being naked and don't focus on each others genitals.... ...but this is a way of life that isn't attractive at all to me. I wouldn't be interested in dating a nudist and in going to a nudist beach or camp(not even once).I just could not walk around totally naked in a public place(and I'm far from beeing a prude).I don't feel comfortable exposing my private parts to everyone for free just like that and I don't feel like seeing everyone else genitals either.I like keeping some mystery, also to me beeing dressed is a fashion statement and says a lot about you and your personnality.
Also if there are some nudist in here I would like to hear about why you practice nudism...And how this affects your dating game?(Is it harder to find a partner willing to share your interest?)
Nudists and non-nudists...share your views or experiences !

| Nudists / naturalists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:27:22 PM | I went to one of those places on the back of a bike during a toy run once; the bar there was one of the stops we HAD to make on our run.
Ugh...more hanging boobies and shriveled bits than I EVER wanted to even know existed.
But hey, those people looked like they were having fun, so what do I know?

| Nudists / naturalists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:27:31 PM | Um, The word is naturists, not naturalists.
Naturalists are scientists that study nature and ecology and I believe most do it with clothes on, because of thorns.

How do you feel about nude beaches/camps? Is this something you would be willing to try?Ever been to one?"
ehh,it's not my bag....but I don't look down on people who practice it. Could I ever be in a relationship with someone that has this interest?....Most likely not,I prefer a bit of mystery myself........but on the other hand,BadBad....if it was you,I'd be completely torn

| Nudists / naturalists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:42:48 PM | Funny how this topic didn't come up before the snow was done falling.
I have to agree w/you. Nudism doesn't do much for me either as this present leaves nothing for my imagination to unwrap.
However, if I enjoyed being w/a particular woman who was smart enough to keep herself warm in appropriate clothing when the weather isn't condusive to this hobby, I've got nothing to be ashamed about for joining her au natural ..and possibly going al fresca.
There's a clothing-optional park in nearby Austin called Hippie Hollow, but it's not on my list of sights to see.

| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:43:10 PM | In Miami we have a nude public beach where thousands go on the weekend.
I have heard both good and bad things about it, but most of the articles in the local papers that try to make it sound salacious end up writing a column that make them sound boring as hell.
I loved one of the quotes from a beachgoer. "For first timers, it is the 15 most exciting minutes of your life. "
He also pointed out something else. To get attention, people WEAR suits that are provocative.
Considering S. Florida averages about 75-85 degrees year round, I can understand the reason not to wear clothes because whenever I am outside for any length of time or exercising, my clothes are usually drenched in sweat. Granted, you don't have this problem in Quebec, except in July-August.

| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 2:43:47 PM | And yet the OP has previously said she's a stripper?
I've gone to a nude beach once or twice. it was an interesting day,and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

lol I knew someone would come in here with a comment like this... (I don't mind btw )
If you read my first post carefully, I said:
I don't feel comfortable exposing my private parts to everyone for free just like that
I don't even get totally naked at my job.I have a real issue with showing genitals to strangers.
And to me there is a BIG difference in showing my body half naked in private for $$$ and doing it in public for free.Just wanted to make things clear. If a stripper bends over and does the split on stage...it doesn't means that she would do that in a public place with kids around
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 3:02:21 PM | I'm kind of partial to my clothes, and I don't see myself moving somewhere that walking around in the buff is legal. However, if she wanted to walk around naked in the home all the time I'd be perfectly cool with that | |
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 3:10:19 PM | well, darlin...when I start rubbing suntan lotion on places like that...I never know when to stop.
Seriously, though...half a dozen naked people hanging out is diff than the nude resort/beach stuff. I've never gone to one down here in Florida. We pulled up to anchor off of one of those beaches back a couple decades ago....just swim in. yanno? Scrolled across the beach with binoculars......and got the hell out of there. Saggy balls on old hairy men with tits....saggy tits on women that you couldn't tell if they had balls because of their saggy stomachs. No thanks. I'd rather watch the sunset....and have the fun of taking some babes bikini off at another island.

| Nudists Posted: 5/7/2007 3:33:02 PM | Personally? I'm a casual exhibitionist and if it's warm at home I won't be wearing much. However, most naturists are also sun worshippers and I'm from the fishbelly genetic line.
Ships have been known to turn away from coasts where my flesh was exposed as they thought a lighthouse was signalling rocks.
Sunscreen stocks rise if the markets get wind of me going to the beach.
I was almost raised up a mast when I accidentally took my shirt off on a sailboat.
Casual dating or a lover? Been there, done that, would gladly do it again. Long term relationship? Probably not.
Cheers, Mike (in Palm Springs they have a nudist bridge across one of the major streets)

| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 1:30:21 AM | | OP, i think your job as a stripper has over sexualized nudity. When infact nudity is the natural way we're born, your job has made you think of being unclothed as being in a state of heightened sexuality. | |
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 2:24:55 AM | | Living most of my life without central AC, I often go around my house naked in the summer if I'm alone or when I was living with my ex. Public nudity isn't really my bag of tea though. | |

Nah..my job has nothing to do with it.And I don't think stripclubs in particular oversexualized nudity...but society in general.
And you totally misunderstood me.To me there is NOTHING sexual about beeing naked in a nude camp.Actually I think beeing dressed or in a bikini is more sexy/sexual than naked.

| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 6:51:27 AM | Every other weekend ... no problem ... | |
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 7:24:40 AM | I think nudity is mostly just fun for the person who is nude :)
You never hear about underwear colonies, though...do you... now that's comfort :)

| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 7:45:02 AM | nudism is not for everyone, the problem is that in the united states people have a problem with it, europeans don't. nothing like having no tan lines . the best people i have met i have met through nudism, i wish i was a nudist 20 years ago... it does not matter what you do for a living or how much money you make . i had wanted to start a forum but was concerned about what other people would think, i never really liked clothes. i know that people have a problem with seeing people that are not just average in appearance, it does not matter if you are large or small or if you have a breast missing... we are all the same, humans. | |
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 8:03:01 AM | I am more than happy to walk around naked in my home but not on a beach...
Mainly because a lot of nudist beaches I have wamdered across cater to the over 65's and that just ain't my thing.
To each their own ... enjoy whatever it is while it lasts

I totally agree with that. But then again... i'm all about the lingerie, yummers...

A nudist bar? I'd be worried about sitting down on a seat with someone skid marks... ewwww...
Couldn't you transfer diseases easier that way? Atleast with your cloths on you got a bit of a barrier...
I know if i was at a nudist bar i'd be completely red all the time and i wouldn't know where to look... i'd be looking at the floor the whole time lol
|
| Nudists Posted: 5/8/2007 9:04:03 AM | I'm perfectly comfortable being naked. The only thing I'd be worried about would be getting a little too excited from the experience. Not because I'm staring at some girl's chest but because the thought that some beautiful woman may or may not be staring at my body. Maybe I'm an exhibitionist at heart.
I read an article nudists camps that described them as more uptight about sexuality than non- nudists. Because everyone percieves nakedness as sexual, they get paranoid and consider anyone who wears cloths around them, or anyone who briefly glances at another person's body, to be a pervert. Kind of funny when you think of it.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW hahaha thanks for sharing that disgusting mental picture lmao.
But for real I guess we would have to bring your little towel or bandana everywhere to sit on it.And I would ALWAYS be crossing my legs while sitting lol...and avoid A LOT of poses...
