Posted: 5/16/2007 6:01:52 AM | choice is always a good thing!! this karaokee host is fabulous, different atmosphere than some of the others...huge selection of songs....great sound system....offers closer venue for some of us in the north end....etc.......... hence, choice is always a good thing......and people can decide for themselves where they want to go...no worries!

A few of us love going here as mention great service, lots of songs to sing and Pool. I would appreciate if thread jumping would stop now because tryin to start a new thread. Looking forward to all who are interested ...: Plus this place get busy and fills up rather quickly so come and join us .  See for urself and some may enjoy it and of course some will not. Can't please every that is why I am doing another thread of interest for those in N.E.

Seems like the patio's are getting packed right after work. Eau Claire was crazy yesterday.

Posted: 5/20/2007 9:29:38 AM | Guaranteed, it won't be as lively as our meets at Limmericks. Ususally on Wednesday's the group meets for Kareoke.....you may wanna check out that thread - it's either held at Kabannas or Juliette's Castle. They're both dives, but the company is good.

Posted: 5/21/2007 7:41:43 PM | ^^ sorry guys, but no need to "hijack" someone else's thread, and kabana's and juliets is not the only places people go for karaokee and good company....although they do have those things there, most of the time. This is an option for people in the north part of town , and thank goodness Calgary has a "few" options to choose from! lol! only about what now, a million folks or so....hmmmm.....choices, some people have a hard time separating from the herd to find a new grazing area....their loss at times...but Woody's in castleridge is cool! has 4 pool tables, some video games, and VLT's, as well as a great selection of food and specials....think beer was 3 for under $9, wings 0.20, and various other things, and contrary to some peoples opinions, just cause you go to a neighborhood pub, dosen't mean you have to drink, can have a great night for well under $10 with pop and wings....plus incredible sound system and host at this venue, as the host/hostess are at other venues....just not as good of a sound system....just another option/choice for people....no worries, people can and will go where they want to! and hopefully have fun whichever quadrant of the city they are in!

Posted: 5/21/2007 7:46:45 PM | ps. this venue is not a "dive", but like most other places, is short of help, so easier going to bar to order drinks and food! lol! but staff is very friendly as we have found the patrons to be...as there is a mix of others there and very good folks and fun! who's up for this wednesday? gonna be fun!
