i lost count of how many that said they liked big bald guys who had tattoos...
So my question is why is this and why do they appeal to women so much?
Do men need to look like Phil Mitchel from Eastenders to get any luck on here?!
Forgot to ask whether its also essential to have a goatee style beard?!! | |

and Tattoo's are nothing to do with it.. I have dated guys with tattoo's... i just dont like men with too many.. my guy doesn't have any.. so i guess its each to their own!!! | |

since shaving my head i must admit i have had better luck with women but then some dont like it and it hasnt changed my luck that much just slightly, probably due to it suiting me better.
to the op as people have said its all about personal taste, some men like blondes some like brunnettes etc... | |

I think both gave the guy an element of danger and screamed 'Mr Unconventional' as they weren't commonplace. Nowadays, loads of fellas are covered in tattoos and shaven heads seems to be popular style for all kinds of blokes. I guess given that, more women voice their attraction to such men which makes the whole image seem a preference amongst us ladies. | |

I have also found that the other part of that is those type of men don't care about how others view them in addition to being artistic, creative, and open-minded.

Posted: 5/16/2007 10:19:14 AM | | this thread has given me a warm toasty glow inside..... maybe because we're confident enough to shave our heads and get tattoos we're also confident enough to approach more women, i dunno. in the next 2 weeks i'm getting a tribal pheonix tattooed on the side of my neck . you have to have an 'i dont care what you think' attitude to get a tattoo like that, maybe its that attitude that attracts women to. who knows what it is really, it doesnt really mean that we're particularly nice or particularly bad. i'm sure just as many women like men with long hair, blonde hair, black hair etc etc without any tattoos at all | |

maybe it's to do with baldness being a masculine thing ('male pattern baldness') and many women who find men attractive find manly, masculine men the most attractive?

I know I am different to many women in that respect but I prefer men with pristine, pure skin, a couple of freckles are not a problem, nor is a scar or two and dark hair. Some tattoo's look fantastic though but I think it's a bit like posing and acting like you are someone you aren't when you get all inked up. As if you are making a huge effort to be cool and can't rely on your own personality to show that you are.
That's just me being a bit judgemental though, I am sure tattoo's and baldness denote a way of preferred living for many and being tattooed and bald on the outside does indeed show that man' s personality. But what I don't understand is when someone looks quite hard on the outside they insist that inside underneath their skin they are soft and gentle and wouldn't harm a flea. | |

Posted: 5/16/2007 10:59:13 AM | Bald blokes dont appeal to me in the slightest, a shaved head is one thing because they can always grow their hair back, but gone bald just doesn't do it for me.
I do think at the end of the day though, if you like someone you like them, you can fall for the most unlikely types that you wouldn't normally touch with anyone elses bargepole let alone your own.

I only think they look really good if you go the whole hog with them and get a really good piece of custom art work done by a talented artist.
