| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 12:41:03 PM | Supposedly there are only 200 odd sperm donators in UK...
This is mainly due to the new laws ref anonymity plus opening times of clinics etc?
I used to donate sperm (no i dont mean over my laptop) and did it not for the hard earned cash of £5 a shot but because I wanted to.
Now they are recruiting again...would you do it?
The old story was that you wasnt able to ejacualate 3 days before giving a sampling and the speciman had to be at the clinic in a specified time. It was hard for me but my gf generally helped out.
So are you for , against for donating sperm...
and for the girls would you donate your eggs etc?

| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 12:47:48 PM | If giving my eggs helped somebody experience the pleasures of becoming a parent, who otherwise wouldn't, then of course I wouldn't mind donating them. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 12:49:09 PM | I think it's great idea . I did look into donating my eggs when I was mid thirties but was told I was too old | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 1:07:38 PM | I found out recently that they pay quite well for Donations. And being an habitual Wanker,i dread to think of the money i've,quite literally, let 'slip' through my fingers over the years.

| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 1:07:48 PM | | No I would never donate any sperm I would want to know who I was getting pregnant. I am also totally against unnatural methods of conception. I am not a Catholic either. I just don't like the idea of it. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 1:10:39 PM | | Its not just used for "making babies" but for experimentation too! | |

I think it is marvellous how couples who can not have children, are now given the chance of parenthood.
I would not mind donating sperm, as long as if I was struggling produce a sample, a nurse was on hand, to help

I agree and although Im too old to help with the eggs I'd gladly help with the donation of sperm

| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:16:40 PM | Most definately,
£12 a time for your troubles, and theres a massive shortage they was doing a recruitment drive with their 'give a toss for britain' mobile spermobile parked up in town asking ppl to come in and give a toss straight off the street!
You have to pass high standards though, there has to be a high sperm count in your sample, and it must be analysed for other scientific stuff, oh and the health of it of course as well.
Once they say you're OK you can donate up to 3 times per week, with at least a day in between donations.
They can tell your 'creation' your details when he/she is over 18 and I think he/she will want to meet you when the time comes.

| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:18:51 PM | I donated sperm once...then i had to fight watch it grow. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:19:59 PM | | Its a great idea....i had some of my eggs frozen a few years ago..i dont want more children but a friends asked if i will donate them to her....we are currently looking into it. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:22:01 PM | I would do it, getting a fiver for thrappin off is a bit poor though, saying that with porn I reckon I could produce a sample in 5 minutes, so it's better than minimum wage.
Reckon if the money was right, say £20 then I could give out 3 samples a day.
I would do it, but I think that anyone who does it for the money is fcukin desperate

| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:27:27 PM | | i would just to help some one that cant have kids of there own | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:30:13 PM | Its a wonderful notion to be able to give the joy of being a parent to someone by donation of my eggs. I know that by now my eggs are way past their sell by date, but I do believe the process of egg donation can be rather complicated, and I am sure this may have put me off considering it, even if i were young enough.
That doesn't make much sense and is dreadful english .. but i know what i meant ;-)
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 2:59:42 PM | | i'm all for donations. eggs/sperm. if it gives someone else a chance to experience becoming a parent... what i don't agree with,is the fact... why do men get paid for it?.. they have a wa*k in a bottle.. and go without sex for 3 days prior.. we may have to take hormonal injections and months of prep. then have a large needle inserted into the stomach wall to extract the eggs... i don't feel this is fair!.. no one should get paid.. you should do it for the right reasons, not for a quick buck! | Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 3:17:09 PM | | I might donate some sperm tomorrow, just need to find my wank sock thats under my bed and take that in, at least 3 weeks supply in that. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 3:27:54 PM | yes i would and have once, the only thing that scared me was the room had a mirror in it (wonders if it was a two way),and a cup of tea and a biscuit(?)but its not seedy, sleazy.just like giving blood but it dont come from the arm, and who knows if or who you have helped. | |

|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/16/2007 5:51:43 PM | | I think a lot of men find it devianltly kinky to think about wanking off for pay on an industrial scale. However, I'd always be a bit disturbed that there was a mini version of me out there and I didn't know about it. | |

I think it is marvellous how couples who can not have children, are now given the chance of parenthood. There always has been a way for infertile couples to have children, all it needs is for the woman to sleep with someone who is fertile.
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/17/2007 1:35:13 PM | | Due to the current UK sperm shortage, they are desperate for donors. Watching a program on it now, its on BBC Three on until 10pm. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/17/2007 3:15:00 PM | I wouldn't donate my eggs personally. That child to be, would be half mine, would have a look of me. Would biologically be my son or daughter.
No i couldn't do it. | |
|
| Sperm Donation Posted: 5/17/2007 3:50:16 PM | There always has been a way for infertile couples to have children, all it needs is for the woman to sleep with someone who is fertile And therein endeth the lesson for today in infertility..... OH MY GOD (the abbreviation just does not convey my astonishment at this post....)
So it's only men who suffer from fertility problems? So a woman who's partner who is infertile should just go and indiscriminately shag all and sundry til she conceives?? Damn that's where I was going wrong.... Even though it was me with the fertility problems, if I'd only fvcked the entire male forum population I'd have definitely caught.. i'll have to go have a word with that professor whatsisname.. He's got it all wrong... There are myriad reasons for infertility and until you have struggled with this then you ahve no idea how wonderful the gift of sperm/egg donation is ...
So I thank you for your donations and would like to introduce you to your son ....
