| Do you mind if I stare in your eyes a moment?
Posted: 5/18/2007 1:46:05 PM | I just got glasses, and now contact lenses, after spending over 10 years without them. I had farsightedness. With farsightedness, you can see close things and far things by concentrating on focusing your eye.
For ages, I didn't look people in the eye, because it was like baring your soul to them: To put that much concentration and effort into their eyes, it's like you're saying directly to the person, no matter who it is, "I'm thinking about you".
Now though, I find I sometimes get lost in girl's eyes, just looking at them, and then they're looking back, and there's this connection. Do you mind? I'm not overstepping some limits or anything, am I? | |

They will either look away and you will feel them retreat.. or they will meet and hold your gaze..

it's like you're saying directly to the person, no matter who it is, "I'm thinking about you". ..... This could also mean "I'm possessed with you". Staring a person in the eyes for a short time is ok, but for an abnormally LONG time can be quite uncomfortable for me.
The eyes can tell so many things, it's like 'reading' a person, and if you look deep enough you can find out more than perhaps you don't want to know.
To sum it up, I guess a few seconds is acceptable, but a few minutes? mmmmm
