| what's your upcoming travel plans for 2007
Posted: 5/21/2007 9:13:13 AM | okay everyone, what are you upcoming travel jaunts for the remainder of 2007? I'm not doing much the rest of this year. I had to put my trip to Turkey or Guatemala on hold this year as I have to take a working vacation. So Sept i'm off on a Caribbean cruise (there is a seminar on the ship i have to attend). Not my usual style of trip but I'm still looking forward to getting away, and I'm going early to meet up with someone on the seminar and enjoy Miami (I adore South Beach--I'm an art deco fan).
so, spill...big or small, inquiring travel minds want to know...how are you satisfying your wanderlust craving this year? | |

upcoming: Florida, Mexico, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, possibly Brazil or Singapore... maybe I'll get lucky and see Yellowstone and Europe this year :) | |

Posted: 5/31/2007 5:08:45 AM | The last couple of years,I made my travel plans around meeting the great friends I've made here in the Pond.
2 days until my trip to Virginia!
The week after that,I'll be spending a few days in Toronto.
July is Ottawa.
And,tentatively...Vancouver in September,and Tampa in October.
I think for next year,though,I'd like to just splurge on one big amazing trip...like Australia,or a Mediterranean Cruise. | |

After that I wing it, doing trips randomly here and there. Brazil would rock, was looking into that for my few months vacation, but decided on Mexico. Brazil next year I think. | |

Posted: 6/3/2007 7:16:15 PM | PHK: If you can, go to Sedona, Arizona. Book a hot-air balloon ride. That's the best place to do it! I can't believe Sedona is in the same country as KANSAS. Has to be the most beautiful place I've ever been.
I'm off this week to L.A. for a family event.
Hoping to hit Mall of Amerca in Bloomington, Minnesota later this summer.

The good thing is i get plenty of time off to do some sight seeing, i plan to go see machu pichu and the incan trails and probably lake titticata(sic)! I'd like to combine it with a trip to brazil to the iguaza falls to do some more voluntary over there it looks amazing to! But im self employed so it depends how long i can get someone to look after the business? Definatly good to see where everyone is going! I once read that this world is like a book, those that dont travel only read one page! | |
