Posted: 5/25/2007 5:29:13 AM | | I am 5'10", quite tall for a woman I suppose. I have a fairly small fram though, so am not a giant or anything!! I have met a lot of good looking guys that are shorter than me or the same height, but shorter if I am in heels! Does this bother men? | |

Men have the same preferences as women do, even in regards to height.
Personally the only height preference for me, would be if the gal is say six foot two inches and taller... that would be a bit too tall. | |

Imagine, you looking at men's profiles. They say they have children... they love them and spend lots of time with them...etc..etc... Any woman will bypass profiles such as these. I even think there was a thread about this exact topic.

It becomes the symmetry of that size and how it fits with your size, and personal preferences, that matters in the end.....thus we have tall threads, small threads, fat threads, skinny threads, hair threads, no hair threads, boob threads, no boob threads....on and on.....

Posted: 5/25/2007 10:28:53 AM | 5'10 wouldn't bother me at all. But then, I'm 6'0. It is not typical to see a guy who is shorter than the woman, so I think it might look a little odd and might make some guys who are shorter a little nervous.
But for me, I really don't care about height. The girl I'm dating is 5'3, and I'm cool with that. In fact, it's kind of nice to be dating a girl who is so petite. | |

Actually I think a lot of the shorter guys do feel this to be an issue. At least I knew one who had a big insecurity about it, mainly because of his own height. Ironically I would love a taller woman and I usually end up with average to short. I would love some one I don't have to bend down to kiss or put on the steps to kiss. Beyond that it isnt too much of an issue to me. Photogenically, two similarly sized people look better together but that's just face value. | |

Some day I will have to try to find that 6'10" to 7' tall woman and try that slow dance since I am about 5'11" or more......"IN HEELS"......
In reality, it is all about symmetry and for you my dear friend, that is a preference for petite, and I understand that totally. I prefer those that do not tower over me as well, and yet I did not really enjoy dating those 5' and less.....felt more like I was holding hands with my child......
Horizontal it does even up for the most part, and if the chemistry is there for the two of you.......why the hell not?????....

I am short for a guy[5-7]. I am ok with my height but I tend to date women shorter than me and there are plenty out there. For most part , women shorter than me have no problem with height , so I guess its in guys mind. I have no problem dating a taller woman but most time taller women do lol. Thats ok I understand and not judging women on that. People want what they want. I will say this I would rather be my ht than 6-4 or over and I am not kidding. Optimum ht though would be 5-10= 6-1 , but I am not complaining . | |
