Suddenly, the car lifts off the ground and momentarily, you are staring into the face of a typical grey alien. He gives you the choice of explaining what sex is in one sentence or else they are going to start probing. (This, of course, is via mental telepathy.)
Give us your best one sentence explanation of what sex is but you can't duplicate what anyone else told the alien. Apart from the physical act itself, I'm betting it will be very difficult to explain just what sex is. Do we really know?

Sex is something that is often confused with love, used as a bargaining tool, sold at a very steep price, also a method of creating life, but should be a celebration of the love between two people in a commited relationship.
Now that's one heck of a long sentence lol!!

While we all have interpretted this to be the verb form of sex instead of the noun, why is it the majority of the answers have to do with the physical act and not the psychological or the emotional act? | |

Is it spiritual? Is it in the realm of the soul? Am still working on my sentence. Hope I don't get probed before I get it composed!

1) The term we use to delineate gender. (What sex are you on an application)
2) The physical act of reproduction. (The biological act alone)
Making love is the emotional side. Way different than sex. I dont think I could tackle that one in a single sentence. | |
