It can include your personality traits, your specific body parts (keep it clean - this is a public forum) or anything else that you want to share. But it has to be things YOU feel good about. When completed, make a copy and keep it. Doesn't this remind you of the story someone shared about students in school making lists of traits and descriptions of their classmates....Keep in mind, these should be things you have to offer in a relationship. Your match will need to love or at least tolerate them too. If you are ever feeling a bit down on yourself, just read your list. It should make you feel better!!!

1. friendly
2. treat everyone as I would like to be treated
3. believe in absolute honesty
4. firm believer it takes the word "WE" to make a relationship work (not I) and constant communication
5. when you have established you both have the same common goals in life and you want to HAVE a relationship...I'll do everything in my power to keep my partner happy...in and out of the bedroom
6. always happy and upbeat
7. Blessed with good health so trying to keep it that way
8. Always trust everyone until proved otherwise
Darn this is to much like work....grin I better print this down and REMIND myself everyday what I'm doing on here laughing This may not be what your looking for but it's the best I can think of smile | |

ok here it goes. 8 good things about me...
1. I'am open minded to most everything, always willing to hear someones thoughts  rather I agree or not...
2. I have a caring heart, I cry in happiness and sadness alike 
3. I am a wonderful cook
4. I am funny 
5. I am a "fairly" a truthful and honest person. "The reason I say fairly is because no one is always 100 percent truthfull and honest." But I am admirable enough to try and be.
6. I find good in everyone I meet. "always giving everyone a second chance in life.
7.I am forgiving
8.I am sorry when I make mistakes.

Such a positive thought provoking twist to the same old 'argumentative...cry on my shoulder and criticize each other’ types of forums. Kudos on the thread, darlin’.
Okay...here I go in no particular order.
I love...
* My natural ability to approach others and engage in conversation with them in a positive and friendly manner...usually resulting in long term friendships. I can be a bit of a social bee. I am bluntly open(minded as well) and honest in conversations and with details I prolly shouldn't be...but I love conversating about them, reguardless.
* My natural ability to read others personalities usually pretty well and to adjust to them individually making communication and relationships a bit more easy going. I am a watcher and an adjuster and I love it....*smiles*.
* My ability to throw my passion into my words...on paper (keys) as well as verbally. Though I don't spell well nor speak eloquently...I do mange to get a point across, cause a stir(sensual and non) or cause laughter...in a cute way.
* My creativity, imagination and sex appeal rolled into one. Yes, I love this about me because it shows in just about everything I say and do...this includes the in and out of the bedroom.
*wink*
* My oral fixation...funny I know...but I pride myself in being ...(dare a lady say?)...
a...‘blow job queen’.
*smirks*
Seriously...don't laugh!
* My hair...though most days I can't do anything with it...I still love it. I like the dirty dishwater blondish brown hair color I have (thus the 'mixed' on my profil)...the length and it being touched, pulled and played with.
* My voice...*smiles* yes, I like the way I sound in person and on the phone...and though I could sound a lot better when I sing...I still am pleasant on the ears when I do.
We won't even talk about the sweet sounds I make from the bedroom...No... We will leave those sensual sounds alone.
* My children (I am very family orinented)...yes they are part of me, who I am, what I have become...and what I will be...they make up a big portion of who I am...I am Mommy. I love that I am a Mommy. Without them I would definitely feel completely incomplete. | |

Posted: 5/31/2007 8:13:27 AM | I have to admit...I cannot take full credit for this thread...I was having "one of those" days and was perusing the global forums and came across one similar...except it asked for 10 things...and I thought that was too much...and I was going to ask for 5...but that wasn't enough...so I settled at 8...nice number...don't you think??? LOL
First 2 or 3 would be easy enough....but after that...you have to think...and you guys know...I like people to think...always been a firm believer in " if you don't use it...you lose it!"
Plus, we all need to be reminded of the good we have in us...now don't we???
Now, for my list:
1] I love the fact that I am a "survivor"...there is absolutely nothing that could be or has been thrown at me that I haven't been able to overcome.
2] I love my belief in "unconditional love"...from my children to past relationships. There are some that say my kids are not perfect, and as much as I hate to admit it, they are right. But I know for a fact that there has never, ever been a day that I did not tell them how much I love them, or how proud I am of them. And as far as past relationships....When I walked away...I knew for a fact that I had given and done everything within my power to make it work. I know I am able to love the person, and hate the behaviors or wrongs they have done.
3] I like that I am a strong, self sufficient woman.
4] I am a great friend. Loyalty and honesty is my greatest asset in this department.
5] I am a passionate lover.....
6] I am outspoken...no fear of speaking my mind! Do not ask if you really don't want to know.
7] I am intelligent and a leader. I like that I have always been capable of making good, sound, mature decisions based on fact. I am not afraid to "march to the beat of my very own drummer."
8] I am content with me. I honestly like me. From the physical to the mind....I like the person I have become.
You know...this was as good for me as I hope it has been and will be for all of you...
Sometimes we all need to be reminded of the good in us...

Honesty – I am fair and straightforward, but not at the expense of others’ feelings.
Hope – I am optimistic about my present as well as my future.
Faith – I have complete confidence, belief and trust in ~and am working toward reliance on ~ God. I also firmly believe in the good in mankind, the world and the universe.
Courage – Firstly I pray for the clarity to make a wise decision, and then I will proceed on my course in the face of extreme difficulty, mental or moral, and I have strength to withstand fear.
Integrity – I am reliable and accountable. I will not over-commit myself because I believe in doing what I say I am going to do.
Willingness – I hope to never say that I am “fine the way I am” as I believe I can continually improve and am willing to do so. A very wise person taught me that if I keep doing what I have always done I will keep getting what I have always gotten.
Humility – I am not proud or haughty, not arrogant or aggressive. I have a clear and concise understanding of who and what I am, coupled with a sincere desire to become who and what I can be.
Brotherly Love – I have an unselfish concern that freely accepts another in loyalty and seeks their good.
Discipline – While not my strongest suit, I try to take care of myself and check my motives for selfishness when dealing with others.
Perseverance – I am steadfast despite opposition, difficulty or adversity when I believe what I am doing is for the good of myself and all others concerned.
Awareness of God – I am no longer the center of my universe; for this I am the most grateful.
Service – I diligently try to make some type of contribution to the welfare of others on a daily basis. | |

2) Honesty...I believe you should be honest about your feelings in any relationship
3) Tolerance...use to be overly tolerant, now there is a cut off point for me (self preservation)
4) Loving/Caring/Helpful...my ability to love and accept love/caring and to help others
5) Positive Outlook/Optimistic...I look at the glass "half full"
6) Self Assured...know I "can" do whatever I set my mind to
7) My Faith/Belief in God...without Him I would be nothing
8) People Person/Sociable...people amaze me and I like to discover how they "tick"

No Wolfie....we aren't saints....but it is good for the soul to take time and look at the positive things you have going on for yourself once in awhile...rather than focusing in one the negative.
Maybe someone should comeout with a thread that ask what do you not like about yourself. It wont be me though.
Because there is no need to remind ourselves of what is wrong with us when we have negative people all around us just waiting to point out our faults!!

For the most part people are just uptight!! It isn't just here in GA Wolfie!
If you want to talk about negative things...email me and I can get real negative...real quick!!! There are tons of things in the world that are not pleasant to talk about....but being as there is so much bad going on around us why DWELL on it!!! It makes life miserable...and I for one prefer to have a smile on my face!!

You said a mouth full there. I think it happens here in the forums all to often. Why can't people just accept others for who they are. Criticism is not necessary. And if one doesn't like what someone says ignore it. Its much easier that way. A wise person once told me "it takes a lot less energy to be nice to people than it does to huff and puff and be ugly to them". Just my opinion!

I agreew with ya dude. May think that negativres are offemsive, and I think people who want to be optimistic sometimes gpo by the ignore it and it will go away theory. Negatives are a part of life, and I believe that if one wants to be honest , pretendding that nothing bad ever happeens will prevent bad from hapenning, nor pretending no negative feelings ever exist, doesnt mean they dont. TO me honesty is being honest with both the posatives, and the negatives, that we all have. Sometimes, the negative things in life can work out to be very posative, but will it if you pretend the negative isnt there???????????? | |

I know I had a hard time coming up with 8 things as did most others from what I understand. In this evil world we live in, it is so easy to stay focused on the negative. I think the point here was to try to look at the positives we all have, because human nature most of the time causes us to focus on the negative. Of course we all have things about us that could use some work. I personally try everyday to become a better person. We could probably all easily list 8 things about ourselves that we don't like. If we dwell on the negatives we will never overcome them. What good is life if you stand still and never take any steps forward?

Anything can be turned into a posative if both want it to, and have the ability to truly put things behind them. I agree Steph, if we dwell on the negatives, we wil never get boeyond them, but we also wont ever get beyond them by ignoring them, or pretending they dont exist. The key is to accept them on the short term, and put yourself in the best position where the negatives wont affect the posatives, or at least offset them. For example, if you cant swim, dont become a lifeguard! | |
