How would your family and friends feel about u dating someone of the same gender? I personally can look at another female and find them attractive, but would never be able to be w/ them intimately. But eventually I realized that though I get crushes on women, I don't think I could ever fall in love with one. To me that was an important distiction. That's when I knew I wasn't gay or bi. I'm just a straight girl who thinks other girls are hot.

I had one hit on me while I was with a guy at a wine festival. So you can just be blatant and hope one will reciprocate or maybe there is a bisexual or lesbian aspect to this site. | |

Posted: 5/31/2007 4:54:21 AM | First of all you are still a teenager. The age of the adolescent crush... This means that you find yourself at times attracted to strong accertive people or those in authority be it male or female... Its normal so I wouldn't question your sexuality just yet.
Secondly, you obviously haven't had a "serious" relationship just yet. Its only when this happens and you find yourself thinking about the person first thing in the morning and last thing at night that you will be sure what way you will be going.
Finally, if you still have doubts ask a gay woman (one who is not looking to score with you). After going out each week dressed to kill and not having any luck, I asked a woman did men see any gay in me and that is why they didn't approach me... She assured me that I was definitely not gay. So don't worry enjoy your life... | |

Meet a guy and a girl people who push your buttons: who you are attracted to, who you can talk to, and who make you feel good to be around.
The fact that you are dating guys usually indicates that you prefer guys.
However, your lack of clarity indicates that you are not happy with the guys you date, probably because you have never dated a man who knows how to treat a woman.
Find a friend who has a good, sexy, communicative, self-aware man.
Then ask her to ask her boyfriend to recommend someone to you.
If he is truly self-aware, he will find such a man. Then go out on a few dates with this guy.
You won't need to sleep with him, unless you want to, but dating him will show you what you want out of a man. Be warned, the guy will probably be a lot older than you, because you only develop maturity by "going through the mill", i.e. by going through a lot of harsh experiences.
Many guys under 30 have not gone through such experiences yet, so they really don't know much about life. I was like this at age 18, but I had gone through more in those 18 years than a lot of 40-year olds.
Then, you will know what a real man is like, what a real date is like, and though most people will think it is obscene, you will probably be so enamoured of this guy, you will want to start a relationship with him right away. DON'T. The point of all this is to learn what a real man is like, not to be broken-hearted or disappointed again.
If you really want a relationship with him, then take your time, and make sure he understands this. Don't rush into anything too quickly, and he will appreciate you more than you know.
If you want to pursue guys your own age, at least you will then know what you want, and how to express that to them. So then, you can at least give them the opportunity to act like a man and not a boy.
You won't like everything the man does, or says, but it will open your eyes to how a real man thinks and feels about things, his overview and his viewpoint on life. That will give you the spur to put your spin on things.
Or, you'll realise what you want from a woman, and go get that.
Either way, its a win-win situation. It's a no-brainer. | |

Posted: 6/3/2007 12:01:46 PM | | i was in the same predictament last year for a long time .... i knew that i was attracted to girls but i kept having relationships with guys.... it was really confusing and then i met this one girl who was totally awesome and we talked about alot of stuff and then she told me she was lesbian and (some of the lesbians i met dont like bisexuals for whatever reason i dont know why---i know when i told my mom i was bisexual that she said her lesbian friend told her that bisexuals dont exist... i replied with: "well mom im right here") anyways after she told me she was lesbian and i said i was having trouble with my sexuality... and i went through a phase of just trying to be lesbian but it didnt fit me... and she said to me: its okay to like both, there's nothing wrong with that... and hearing that come from a girl that like girls was awesome it made me feel so much more comfortable with it..... people need to realize that it is okay too .... sometimes its just a phase but if its more than that its certainly nice to respect the fact that you are bisexual b/c i know some girls who say they are but include "only when they are drunk" i dont consider that bisexual i consider that just being drunk and horny hahah ... and i know some girls who date guys and then have girls on the side... (and i met a few girls like that when i clearly told me them that i didnt want girls with b/fs or trying to get back with their ex) i considered that rude on my part.... i dont want to be a third wheel and i definitely wont treat anyone like that... if im in a relationship with a girl, i only date her an dnobody on the side.. and if im in a relationship with a guy, i only date him, and nobody else on the side..... those are my standards and "rules" you just need to realize yours and everything will be fine.... | |
