For me i think if someone were to tell me "i have been to jail" or what one guy i was talking but did not meet told me was he was under house arrest.So what would freak you out. | |

I've been in jail.
I live with my mother.
I never see my children.
My last relationship was with a 21 year old woman
I'm unemployed
I don't own a computer
I don't own a phone
I cannot give you a phone number
I have a drinking problem
I have a drug problem
I have no friends
I've never been married
I haven't had sex in a long time
I have no money
I need money
I need a place to live
I can't pay my bills
I guess if I gave it more thought, Iprobably could come up with some more.
I tell you .....makes a woman wonder why these guys are on a dating site.

It would depend on WHY before seeing it as a possible red flag. A dear friend of mine who is the most law-abiding and honest citizen spent a night in jail for an unpaid parking ticket years ago.
Sometimes I note possible "problems" on first dates but also hope we get a second chance because first dates can also go wrong due to nerves.
I guess if I heard "I murdered my wife" or "You're the third PoF lady I have met today." , I'd be pushing my chair away from the table.
Any kind of preaching or lecturing would be a huge turn-off so Bible thumpers, Jehovah's Witnesses, touchy-feely New Age practitioners, Scientologists beware along with any man who is totally wrapped up in himself and his field of "EXPERTISE".
I don't like hearing about sexual prowess ever and certainly not at the first meet-up. In fact, any blatant sexual conversation makes me think CREEP.
I'd also wonder about a man with children who had little or no contact with them and, most certainly, wouldn't want to pursue a possible relationship with a man who bad-mouthed his ex-wife/SO.
They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but, I'm sorry, you go out with me, you dress appropriately for the venue....I don't want to have to look at last night's dinner spattered down the front of your shirt ever! And no baseball cap!
I'm sure there's more!
