Posted: 4/29/2005 11:14:49 PM | Im a single mom, who works nights during the week as a security guard, makes it hard to meet new people. i was hoping to meet some folks interested in working on setting up a gathering on a public park/beach in our area, if you want to help or would just like to attend something like this, contact me

OK......I got a shelter at Howard park. We will be in shelter #4, if you have to ask one of the park services people where exactly that is (as I probably will. LOL) Tell them you are with the Plenty Of Fish group.
I know we set the time for July 9th 2:00pm....but I have to be there by noon to secure the shelter, so if anyone else wants to come early, you are more than welcome!!!!

Personally, I am tied up for a month and a half of weekends. Summer, with the kids out of school really whacks up my schedule.
But I am sure I could squeeze in something.
Maybe we could start with a month to do this ?

Simmons and fished off the fishing pier, the fishing was fun, but the park was infested with noseeums and fire ants....beautiful location, but needs to be treated before going back there!
